Honestly, wow! Such an amazing restaurant. The staffs were incredibly friendly, they kept asking if we need anything throughout our meals. One of them even lend me their charger. Also, the food were really good and actually spicy (id recommend the hot one to get the "10 out of 10 spice" for spicy lovers). We got chicken tikka masala, butter chicken, the beef biryani, and some rice. All of them 10 out of 10, so tasty. The atmosphere was really nice and they had the game on. Overall, a fantastic place!

Beautiful food, well priced compared to melbourne , chicken tikka very good portion and delicious , chicken vindaloo and rice with garlic nann was so good, highly recommend and will be back when down in warnambool again , staff were very welcoming 👌👍

Food is really awesome especially Dal Makhni . It is so popular at restaurant that it sold out while we were at the restaurant. I would encourage everyone to try once. Service is also good.

Amazing Indian restaurant. Being Indian it’s hard for me to find a great tasting Indian food. But India Gate is one of those rare gems. Loved the ambiance, friendly staff. Chef explaining his heritage. Hightly recommend this restaurant to try out. We were on holiday to Warrnambool one of the night we came here to try Indian food. Loved it.

The food was amazing, make sure you order the Calcutta fish. It is delicious.
The roti naan rice combination was next level.
Recommend the kulfee as well.
I recommend this to every non-India person!

Service is everything!!

We were travelling from Melbourne for over 8hrs and we were so blessed to be accommodated by the friendly service and off the menu option of making a delicious soup!

A must go!

We were so pleased with our experience. The staff is amazing and they always smiling. The service is quick. We enjoyed our chicken tandoori, Naan, Samosas, and Sekh Kebab. The only comment we would give (not so important though) that the spices were not so tasty, more like a coloring powder. We ordered extra hot sauce on the side and it was great.

I recently dined at this restaurant , and I must say the experience was delightful. The Chicken Tikka was perfectly spiced, offering a flavorful kick without overwhelming the palate. The Chicken Curry was rich and aromatic, showcasing a well-balanced blend of spices. Additionally, the Garlic Naans were a highlight—soft, chewy, and infused with just the right amount of garlic flavor. Overall, a fantastic dining experience with impeccable service and mouthwatering dishes. Highly recommended!

Very lovely accomodating staff. Food was very nice, I’ve been to India and ordered from every Indian restaurant on UberEats in Adelaide in my area. Definitely recommend! Onion Bhaji was fantastic, loved the mango lassi, and paneer masala was great! Good serving sizes!

Been here a couple of times. Food is delicious. Service is great and very friendly staff. The place has a warm and peaceful atmosphere. Perfect for a great dinner out!

Great food, especially Dal Bukhara and butter chicken. They were on point. Staff and friendly too. Took take away, so I can't comment about the service.
They took extra care by ringing back to confirm the spice levels and provided some suggestions.

The staff is so friendly and calm. We went here in January during a visit to Warrnambool. Great place to have lunch with plenty of vegetarian options. We loved the Paneer masala and Roti. Ambience is also nice with tables well spaced. Definitely visiting there again next visit.

I had kadhai chicken, nan and butter chicken.
It was friendly service and great food, didn't take long time to prepare either.
Beautiful portraits, charming music and nice lighting give nice vibes.
Definitely visit again when we in Warrnambool again.

I was here with family and everyone liked the food and service both.

I must say, Madras paneer was everyone's favorite. The gulab jamun was fresh and delicious. The mango kulfi too was great. And yes, the lacha paratha was full desi style. All of us enjoyed the food and service both.

The best Indian food we have had so far. We had the chicken briyani, chilli chicken, Calcutta fish curry, garlic rice and garlic naan, all of which were just superb. They catered the spice level to our liking and to perfection. They even made chai for us despite not being on the menu.

Best Indian Restaurant in Warrnambool. We ordered Chicken Vindaloo, Chicken Biryani, Butter Chicken & rice and were happy with everything.
The staff were courteous and helpful.
Worth coming back next time we are here.
