La Sorella by Twisted Sista

Got a couple of share plates and some twisted sista fries for lunch with the wife and toddler. The food was excellent, the staff were friendly. We didn't have to wait long to be served, maybe 5 minutes, a simple and enjoyable experience with a 1year old.

I stopped here for a much needed coffee after cycling from Melbourne.
Great selection of cakes and food, order a lovely flour free cake and coffee. When I asked if they had tap water to fill my bottle they took it away, filled it and brought out some for the table - awesome!!

Our group has 9 people. We already struggled finding a place around the area that could accommodate such a large group without booking (we didn't expect to stay in the area for so long). The staffs immediately tried to work out how they would be able to fit us in and moved tables around for us despite being so busy. Such amazing friendliness and good customer service. That alone really won me over. I had a bad experience with another restaurant in the area where I called up to book for our group and they said no booking was needed and reassured me that there would be plenty of seats and we showed up and had to wait for an hour.

The food was excellent. Our table ordered a lot of food and everything was great. We ordered 3 of their tower as seen in the picture (comes with 3 different plates of food), avo mash with bacon, carbonara, and chicken wrap with a lot of different types of coffee. I expected at least one mediocre dish as the menu was very extensive, but nope. We were very happy with everything, all 9 of us. And we have some picky eaters in the group.

If you do order the tower though (the one in the pic), i highly recommend going with the waffle over the pancake. Pancake was a little bit dense for me, but the waffle was crunchy and very yummy. Oh, and the mocha frappe was really good and definitely worth a try.

Lots of attentive staff , happy as well , so that’s a good sign ... we had the monster burger 🍔... omg so good .. ordered extra chips because I didn’t know it came with chips but they were great curly fries ..

Thoroughly enjoyed the Canadian waffles and we heard no complaints from our little one about the Unicorn Shake either.

Friendly staff, good service, extensive menu and yummy food with outdoor seating so that you can watch the world go by, can’t complain.

Had a delicious homemade pasta fettuccine lamb ragu, plus some gelato for dessert (blood orange was the best flavour I tasted, my friend loved Nutella) - the gelato display is stunning, take the kids for sure!! Fun atmosphere & great customer service.

Excellent food, service and facilities. Looking forward to visiting again to sample more of their menu and ice creams!

Was able to get a table for 7 as a walk in tonight (our first time coming here). We were all extremely happy with our meals, the garlic prawns were especially delicious. Cakes and coffee were excellent too.

We spilled a coffee at the table and the very friendly waiter happily replaced it (on the house). Will definitely be returning!

Only downfall was the coffee and hot chocolates as they weren’t very hot but overall the restaurant is a place I would definitely be coming back to!!

What a great cafe! Staff is very friendly and welcoming, even at busy times. We ordered the breakfast tower for two and it is such a generous portion, it can easily feed 3 adults! The presentation of food was flawless and the waffles tasted heavenly! Ice cream flavours are unique and fun. They have cute little doggie treats for those with pets too and a charming outdoor seating area! Prams and children are also welcomed so the whole family had a great time. Definitely heading back!

Good food and friendly staff.
The marinara was very tasty - lots of flavour and obviously fresh seafood.
The chilli prawns special was also good, but could maybe ease off a little on the sugar.
Overall, we were pleasantly surprised and really enjoyed our lunch.
Will definitely return.

I was really impressed with this cafe. Seating outside was really good, a bit of privacy, which is what I was looking for. The food was sumptuous, we had a breakfast which was fantastic, a decent size too. The price was quite reasonable as well. Chai latte was devine and creamy. Service was brilliant, the young man learning was lovely, very happy and will be an asset to the business. I highly recommend this little cafe further down the street from the real busy ones. Personally I would return to this cafe. The cakes looked sensational by the way.

Had an Amazing Mother's Day brunch today thanks to the extremely efficient staff at La Sorella. Considering you were extremely busy we did not wait too long for anything we ordered, staff were all happy and made my overall experience enjoyable with my boys, Thanks again

We were in the mood for waffles and La Sorella did not dissapoint. From the moment we walked in the staff were friendly and accommodating. We shared 3 starters the lamb, chicken ribs and pork ribs all were absolutely succulent and delicious.
Our daughter had a very generous serving of popcorn chicken and chips that were also amazing.
The main affair for us was the berry waffles and they did not dissapoint. Actually they were perfect. Crunchy on the outside, fluffy on the inside and all of the toppings were fresh and well balanced. I can't wait to go back and try more of there menu.

Came here for brunch and would 100% recommend to anyone visiting Mornington. Had the Breakfast Tower to share and it was to die for, delicious food and great Hot Chocolate. Servers were lovely, bathrooms clean and cafe itself beautiful.

This place is lovely, staff is so friendly and great service. Especially Tammy, despite the place was very busy but it was very well managed. And she gave us great service with a smile and the positive energy she gives out is amazing, it's hard to find a waiter/ waitress working with a positive energy these days and it is great to still see a spark happenning. Me and my partner come here everytime whenever we come to Mornington for holiday, . And it has never disappointed us, the breakfast tower was to die for, 100% recommend for everyone. However, do come in with an empty stomach because it is a lot to eat haha, but well worth it. 10/10!

Dinner this evening at Twisted Sister with my family was an amazing experience from the moment we were greeted by our waitress Keira. Great menu, great drinks. Food was fresh, tasty and right on time. Our waitress Kiera was totally customer centric and an absolute asset to the business. I rarely tip but based on the food and drink quality that was topped off with wonderful service I could not leave without showing some gratitude for a great evening. Thank you all for a very enjoyable night.
