Mahogany Motel

I want to say a huge thankyou to the staff at mahogany motel for their exceptional service. They went beyond and above with assistance with my dad who is legally blind. I was suddenly put in hospital over night they checked on my dad multiple times made sure he was OK at the motel on his own. They keep me update at the hospital. They gave us late check out at no extra cost. We found the room to be lovely and clean and the beds where very comfortable. I honestly could not fault this place and such lovely caring staff. I would highly recommend this place very good value for money. Thanks again for all your help 😊

This is a fantastic motel, rooms are very ckean, updated and neat, staff are very friendly and accommodating, no road noise from the highway, we slept comfortably and soundly, nothing is a problem, would highly recommend, its our first time staying here, Port Fairy and Portland are a short drive and so is the Great Ocean Road and 12 Apostles, we will be back, don't drive past you won't regret it 😀

Lovely little motel. Ideal for us. Cleanliness was spot on, comfy bed and electric blanket on a very cold night. Absolutely no traffic noise in our rom. Will stay again. Many thanks

Because it was six o'clock and the staff had already left work, they immediately gave the room number and password through the walkie-talkie.
Very good experience, the room is neat and clean, the bed is covered with electric blankets, very warm, simple kitchen utensils provide heating, a wonderful experience.

Affordable, clean, & excellent friendly service. Definitely recommend staying here.

I get to experience the best of my time there. Thank you so much. Everything was perfect for a short stay. Just if you enhance the WiFi signal for rooms 14-15, that would be great- we couldn't connect to the Internet.

Very clean updated apartments,comfortable bed definitely well rested after being in the car travelling all day also amazing to have a functional kitchen to cook in instead of eating servo food

I was blessed to find the Mahogany for my 2 recent works trips over a total of 6 weeks.
Marty, Steve and Steph made me feel like part of their family straight away.
They were always very quick to respond to questions or requests and were an awesome resource for getting to know Warrnambool.
Marty makes delicious breakfasts and home made kombucha from Steve - awesome!
Thank you so much for making my work trips so easy and stress free.

The Motel was also pet friendly which was incredible so Missy and Gemma got to travel with me - rare and priceless opportunity.

I was lucky enough to spend 4 night in this little motel. The room layout is nice, it is not big, but feeling spacious.

The room also has a kitchenette, which comes with pot and pan, microwave, plates, electronic stove.

The biggest gem to this motel is the location. The motel is walking distance to town center, where you can find lots of shops and restaurants.

Last but not least, the staffs, especially the manger are nice and friendly. I highly recommend this motel.

This place is so close to all the main shops and next to a Service Station. Literally walking distance to the shopping centre. The rooms were nice and cosy.

John and Sue (and diesel can't forget him he's a big baby I love him) are absolutely amazing.
Myself and my children are going through some complex personal issues atm and they've gone above and beyond to make sure that not only myself but my babies feel welcomed and safe here. The rooms well as soon I walked in it had this home like feeling but also being underground feeling too (which you kind of are) it was like the walls were saying "you're safe now" and I know that's weird but yeah I just feel at so much ease here.

Being the quiet type of person, as I like to keep to myself... I get to experience the best of my time there! Jon and Sue have been the best of their respects! They always greeted me kindly, just like they would treat near anyone and everybody they meet!

Due to a booking misunderstanding I didn’t get to stay at the Mahogany Motel, but the staff there tried their best to help me find alternative accommodation, even though they had a no refund policy a refund was issued to me, I would definitely recommend this place for a great place to stay if you are in the Warrnambool area, close to the CBD and eateries and of course the whales. A special thanks to Marty for the assistance given me, above and beyond expectations.

FANTASTIC/EXCELLENT
Owners Sue & John are most friendly, helpful beautiful people, cannot do enough for you. The Rooms are spotlessly clean, spacious with a kitchenette with good facilities. The Beds are very comfortable, the lighting in the room is excellent, plus you have free Wifi, TV with Foxtel and Video Player, It also has a lovely outdoor setting with a BBQ. It is close to everything in the town center. We found it a great place to stay at a good price. We will recommend the motel to others.

Nice place to stay. We got a big room of 5 beds. We were 3 friends though. Guy at the reception was humble and polite. Breakfast is not included in price which is a minus. Rest everything was perfect.

John and wife (apologies, i have forgotten your name) provided a very clean and basic room. Turned the heater on for our late arrival. Exceptionally friendly hosts and a very safe environment. We came by train to Warnambool from the other side of Melbourne with our electric push bikes. Spent an amazing 2 days riding everywhere. A great place to visit. Thanks for welcoming us and making us feel at home. The motel was a very busy place with young and old visitors making use of the friendly atmosphere.
