DooBoo Box Hill

I love this restaurant. Foods are great and the service is excellent. Every dollar you spend here is worth it. The only thing is that I notice a little bit noisy at times when staff communicate out loud. Otherwise great place. You will not regret it. My favourite is Kingsized pork cutlet, tofu soup, Beef Shank and Pork neck galbi. 😋 If you have an egg allergy, they remove the egg from the soup.

The food is too good and the quality of it is good as well. Also the staffs are kind.

The service was really nice and the food came really quickly. I ordered the grilled beef combo meal with soup of my choice and it was really delicious.

Located inside Box hill central. Food is quite delicious. We ordered their combo hot pot rice that comes with soup, choose from beef, chicken etc. the seafood pancake, grilled beef, corn cheese are highly recommended.

Love the food, always down for their seafood pancake. Tteokbokki with cheese on top is also quite decent, but really not spicy.. I was looking forward to a spicy tteokbokki, it said 2 chilli points of spice power in the menu, but it was even less spicy than the Box Hill bar scene.

Playing loud music in the kitchen at the same time as loud music for customers resulted in a chaotic environment that made us move to a seat far from the kitchen.

One of our 2YO’s go to Korean restaurant in the area. She always goes for 2nd serve with the Mild Soon Tofu (non spicy) option!

Second time eating at DooBoo (First was at the CBD outlet) and this is a must-try! The Signature Tofu soup is really good, and the beef was also very tasty. Not sure if we’re doing the rice in hotpot thing correctly but, it was rather tasteless imo. However, do note that there are no free refills for the banchan at this outlet. PS. The fish cake banchan and kimchi is delicious!

As a Korean we tried various Korean restaurants in Melbourne and I can say with confidence that this restaurant is by far the most authentic and best Korean restaurant in Melbourne! Great food, competitive price, fast and friendly service. My family had a great time there.

A good place to eat Korean food! I like all the dishes I’ve tried here. The staff are also friendly. Would recommend if you’re craving for Korean cuisine.

DooBoo has a great atmosphere with intricate infrastructure which makes it stand out from other close by restaurants. This adds to the overall feel when having a meal, lunch or dinner here. The price itself isn’t too expensive but still on the higher side than other restaurants, however the food itself speaks on the price. The boneless chicken we got was quite good alone with the coleslaw. Be sure to get the combo with the hotpot’s for a better experience!
