Such lovely owners, very helpful and kind! Even the customers are lovely, 10 stars if I could!

All the items I post through here is in transit the very next day, even through COVID

Bought something online that was sent via this post office over a week ago. Checked tracking and they still haven’t scanned it into their system yet, just comes up as ‘pending’. I called Australia Post customer service asking what to do and they told me they can’t do anything because the LPO hasn’t scanned it yet.

Tried calling multiple times but they never, ever pick up their phone.

I work in retail as well and understand that this is a busy and stressful time of year, but refusing to send my parcel after it’s been sitting in their shop for a week is a joke.

I am sick and tired of delivery drivers ringing the doorbell and if I don't get there in under 30 seconds (literally) they are gone!!! The I have to wait until 4pm to pick up my package from the PO. This is after instructions of where to safely leave a package!! Please employ drivers with integrity and ethics. This happens repeatedly. I work from home and may need to excuse myself from a meeting to get to the gate. One minute, maybe 2 is not too much to ask. I am incensed and ropable. I would give less than one star if I could!!

Terrible experience. I went to pick up 2 packages for myself and one for my partner who I live with.
The guy insisted I have Photo ID for my parter because apparently people who live together steal each other’s packages from the Post Office.
I didn’t have my partners ID on me and when we tried to sort it out over FaceTime the PO guy got really nasty and abrupt.
Every time I got my partners ID on the phone (the internet kept dropping out) he continued to serve other customers, instead of serving me.
I had assumed that my packages were ok to take and reached across for them. Then all hell broke out. Him and his wife (??) accused me of being a thief. Kept asking what was wrong with me. Apparently I needed to sign for my packages before I took them. I didn’t realise this - and when I told them that the woman said I was a liar or dumb as everyone knows you have to sign. (For 3 years I have been picking up my packages from a rural post office and have never had to sign there - photo ID is enough.) Not that my side of the story mattered to these two - they were viscous and unkind.
Kept repeating that I was a liar, a thief and dumb. That I was breaking the law and the parcels belonged to them, not me.
Not quite what I was expecting when I went to get my packages!
I have put in a customer complaint.
If you are wondering you can collect a package for someone you live with. All you need to do is show your own ID with the same address. All that stress for nothing. Avoid this Post Office as they obviously don’t really know the rules and won’t hesitate to verbally abuse a customer.

Shipped a package from NSW. After 2 1/2 weeks we checked the tracking information to find out the package had been sitting in Cromer LPO for 2 weeks. No paper note at address, no phone call message, even with the contact details of sender & receiver on the package. When questioned on this there was no response...
