Paddington Family Practice

This is a fab Practice with excellent Drs, reception and nurses. My husband and I have since moved out of Paddington but we still come back here because of the standard of care, we see Dr Jamani and Dr Burke (10/10 both) but I would trust any of the Drs here. I would pay a lot more out of pocket to continue coming here, as Medicare obviously doesn’t value good GPs as much as we do. Thank you!

Dr Christopher Scott looks young but I have no doubt of his professionalism. Questions that are necessary and related to health records or family history are asked without intruding patient’s privacy.
Explained my concerns and needs, I walked out without prescriptions and was referred to a dermatologist and pathologist for further examinations. Definitely, he is a family doctor that you can trust!

One of the most important factors contributing to where we choose to live is the quality of medical care available to our family. We in Australia are relatively spoilt in the public space, so when we were recommended The Paddington Family Practice in its former days we attended with eyes wide open. Seven years later we consider the doctors and the people who greet us at the more recent location to be some of the more trusted people in our lives. It is going to make the relocation of our family interstate so much harder than it was always going to be. Thank you all for caring for us over the years.

Dr Rimona Burke is knowledgeable and makes sure you are an active participant in understanding and managing your health.

I feel that the service provided by this practice has dropped dramatically. I recently had a tele appointment and paid for that by my credit card. But yet the Medicare rebate was not automatically processed and was told that I would have to go to Medicare and manually get my rebate. If I was told that this would be the case then I would have come into the practice. Very poor service and lack of communication provided especially when you are paying top dollar to see a doctor. The service in this case matches a bulk billing practice and this is not expected or appreciated. Please lift your game as people expect more. Lucky to get 1 star.

Shocked and appalled at this practice. I went to see my regular GP regarding a mental health concern and was sent away with no care, testing, mental health care plan or regard for my welfare. In 2022, I’m devastated this is still a reality for people seeking mental health support. I strongly suggest anyone seeking these services go elsewhere. When I called in to relay my concerns, the one shining light was the receptionist who showed me empathy and directed me to a number of resources. If you are struggling, there is help. I have never experienced a LESS patient-focused, less supportive, less therapeutic service! Focus on assistance for elder people is ZERO. After 30+ years of fabulous GP service including excellent end of life care for my dad, I am sad to say that this practice has gone to pot! Will be talking to AHPRA

Useless clinic. Cannot book online, then told over the phone that they’re not taking new patients. State that on your website then.
