Prospect Fish Shop

Haven't been since it was renovated but I must say the food was great. Cooked to perfection. Great service. We couldn't finish it which means great value for money. Highly reccomend this business for fish n chips. The burgers looked good to. Thanks....👍

Was severed by a lovely young lady that made me the hands down best potato cakes I'd had.
Asked for extra crispy and she delivered and they still perfectly soft on the inside the fish was amazing crispy and wicked fresh I don't know how Fraggles is in business with these guys around.

Always have great service, decent sized fish fillets, seafood is fresh and big in size, never tough. Now they have churros too! Super crispy yet still soft in the middle, great value for money and actually taste like my home made churros. 👌

A large range of assorted seafood, particularly fish along with potato cakes beautifully presented in a display case for you to select and have cooked and served pipping hot. Just superb. There's your obligatory chips, as well as hamburgers, chicken products and a selection of cold drinks. Excellent off street parking available behind the shop. Service was friendly and food arrived promptly. On a previous visit at a busier hour the shop was busy and a longer wait time was involved.

Great price fish and chips and really efficient service. Not sodden with great and tasted very fresh. Feed the family of 8 for $80 pretty good and heaps of chips left over.

When we go there if the people think there product doesn't cook up properly they throw in replacement pieces. Always been good.

Staff are very friendly, they do decent sized meals the price is as expected compared to the rest of Launceston there's plenty of parking out the back as well so there's no being rushed feeling, definitely worth a try if your driving through

Called in and seen the lovely friendly staff at prospect fish shop and got some chips and the lemon pepper flake......oh wow that lemon pepper flake is to die for and makes a lovely change from just the normal flake (that is also lovely) we will definitely be back for more.

Reasobly priced and the fries are good. Food was fresh. Recommend.

A nice fish and chips shop to cater to the Prospect/Summerhill area. They have a pretty good range of fish and chips takeaway items but they don't seem to have an up to date and complete menu available online so if you're not ordering in store, give them a call. They can get busy due to their popularity so be prepared to wait at peak times. Definitely worth the wait though 👌🏻

There are only two fish and chips shops that I would recommend in the Launceston area and this is one of the two. Most others serve undersized and overbattered fish. Happily the Prospect shop does not. Good food and I feel like I'm getting my money's worth.

This is one of my favourite places to stop and feed the family or to grab that ideal burger after a massive hike.

This is a takeaway place. Known for it best fish and chips. There is not much of a place for seating. Better to take away. Good was really great and my daughter loved their fries.

I love this place.
It's the only fish and chip shop I go to and I live on the other side of town.
I usually get a minimum chips and either flake or flathead plus a drink of some sort.
Prices are great and the staff are so friendly.

I called in here a couple hours ago & drove back to ulverstone. I love the wide variety of fish & potato cakes & the scallops. I come back to tassie every couple months to see family. So i spent over 60 bux here cos i love my seafood. I dont know of anywhere else that has such a great collection to choose from. 5 stars. :)

BIG thumbs up! 3 staff & a busy store handled better & faster than McD's. Only grabbed a hamburger but it was it was pretty damn good. Cheers. C.

Best food, best customer satisfaction, great price! This place has my loyalty, 3x times I've been and everytime satisfaction. Highly recommended.
