Baxter's IGA Prospect

Good selection of microwavable meals. Normal groceries as you would expect. The staff levels seem quite high compared to other businesses which really serves this IGA well as the store is always clean with staff in aisles filling shelves, no self checkouts and staff always available to check you out. More of an old school experience which Is hard to find these days. Downside is prices are slightly more than elsewhere.

Lovely store, great produce and feiendly staff

Lovely staff always dressed neat and tidy. Very helpful and friendly. The shop is always clean and well maintained with shelves clean and have product on it. It is a pleasure to shop there.

The most delightful IGA ! Such beautiful flowers.. dried and fresh. Alio home cooked individual meals 😊 meat and fresh produce are also top quality !

This IGA store is amazing, I do a lot of my shopping here as I find the staff so helpful, go out of their way to ensure your shopping experience is effortless. I love the way they open checkouts to enable you to put your shopping through without having to wait. Their vegetables, dairy and other produce is second to none but their meat is just perfect, I wouldn't buy it anywhere else. You will not be disappointed here.

Very much a local store with different local produce.
Great range, meat and poultry assortment, local bakery products. Patatoes and bananas always cheaper than anywhere else. Great store for your weekly groceries.

Always have what I need, super friendly customer service. Staff always willing to help or say hello. Never had to wait long and staff know locations and prices of most products.

Great variety of items I've never seen anywhere else. So happy with their selection of fruits, meats and other items.

Xcellent service at IGA..Prospect...Launceston.
Friendly & helpful staff,also nicely presented fresh fruit & vegies. Meat section plenty of cuts to choose from. My favourite is the Deli.
So much choice. Never wait at the checkout it is stress free. Car parking is easy also.
Do yourself a favour, shop there next time.😉

The staff and management are very courteous and helpful. The meat is tender and very well priced, cheaper than Coles and Woollies by far. The veggies are very fresh and priced well. I for one love to shop there. 10 out of 10!!!!!!

These guys deserve 6 stars! Spotlessly clean, helpful and friendly staff, amazing array of specialty produce (I particularly love perusing the cheese deli for amazing local Tasmanian and international cheeses like fresh local Chèvre, Spanish manchego, french triple cream brie, Italian tallegio... the list goes on and on). Not to mention fresh produce, full grocery and deli lines and all the essential at prices just as good or better than you'll find at the big two. This is one hell of a good example why we should be supporting our locally owned IGA supermarkets. Keep up the good work!
