Mossman Multi-Purpose Health Service

Needed after hour’s emergency care first night/morning of our week stay at Port Douglas, from the time the door opened 1am I knew I was going to get the care I needed, between the Dr & nurses that attended to my needs were outstanding, they were concerned with my health right up until a more senior dr came on at 8am to make sure what they did for me was okay. They also gave me a number to an acupuncturist and thankfully he had a cancellation the following day that has also relieved my back pain.

This is the most amazing hospital I have ever been to. Every staff member was so kind, caring and compassionate Michael the Irish nurse was incredible. Definitely has found his calling. All Doctors and Nurses should be trained from Mossman Hospital ⭐

Whilst on holiday in Port Douglas I developed a very serious chest infection. I was struggling to breathe and was taken by ambulance to Mossman Hospital. I cannot fault the treatment and care received. They were very thorough and quickly dealt with the infection which enabled to me to continue my travels in Australia, but more important was able to attend my son's wedding on Hamilton Island which was under question when I first arrived at the hospital. I am a UK resident and was traveling around for a month, this was at the beginning of my trip and I became very frightened. Thank you so much Mossman for your care and expertise.

The care and attention my husband received tonight after a bad fall, cleaning and patching large and open wounds was amazing . Staff all professional and friendly. Even made sure I was OK . Dr Tim's attention was also appreciated.

While on holiday in Port Douglas my father(88yrs) had a very bad fall which required us to call for an ambulance.
What a great team looked after Dad well and took him thru to Mossman Hospital for xrays check for broken bones etc. Thankfully not broken but cracked ribs torn rotor cuff muscle in shoulder and very bad gash on his arm.
The care he received from all the medical staff was amazing nothing was too much trouble at all. We ended up going back every 2 to 3 days for changing his dressings on his arm. We wish to thank everyone for your care and concern over the 10days.

My wife required medical attention late at night whilst on holiday. We could not fault the care and attention she received, from triage nurse to doctor took less than a hour. Pleasant, professional service.

Two doctors and a nurse helped problem solve some chest pain a couple of weeks ago. All the tests, results and process was flawless. Thank you for serving our rural community with good spirit and integrity.

Every time I have been here the staff have done their best to help; however if the Commonwealth Government stopped spending our tax money on rubbish that goes nowhere, for example, submarines, paying private companies to harass people on benefits, giving handouts to that U.S. lackey Zelensky, etc., and spent it on the hospital instead they would no doubt be able to do a lot better.

Great Doctor and nurses at hospital....extremely thorough and well looked after. Thanks Dr Sue and Tessa although a long wait. Well worth it. Thanks Mossman Hospital on holidays from Toowoomba.

Minimal wait times with constant checking in by staff and updating me on what was happening. Informative and caring when delivering bad news to me. Extremely helpful with the transition to the next stage of care.

Caring and friendly staff. Bulk billing for X-rays, highly recommended.

First class care and attention

Worst waiting time in the Emergency department.

I'm feeling a need to address a problem here. I've had Several disappointing encounters. And while I'm sure the majority of staff are doing their best, it's Not a 'First World' experience.
