Excellent service

Friendly staff members that go out of their way to help,many different items (a little expensive) but it is a little business so its to be expected. Depending on the time of day it can take upto 20mins for scripts to be filled but its the only pharmacy in Cardwell so its to be expected. Nice range of products and the owner Ray King is a top bloke whos more than happy to explain the medications you've been prescribed.

Limited stock, had to order scripts but good for buying toiletries and hair products compared to IGA

The worst pharmacists I’ve ever seen. Feel sorry for the poor girl working in there for him. Disgusting manner and he should not be looking after anyone!!!

Antiquated procedure, unprofessional and horrendous customer service!
If you do not desparetly need something then my recommendation is to go to any other chemist.

I attended here at 10:15 on Saturday last. The first thing I asked the counter staff person to do was to ask the pharmacist if a specific medication was in stock and at the quantity that I need for my script. Upon doing so the answer was in the affirmative.

The next five minutes were wasted on their ridiculous antiquated procedure of hand writing on a scrap of paper all the details on my cards. Information that upon entering either my Medicare number or safety net number brings up automatically. I know this from the 11 different towns that I've been in over the last 114 days. During this waste of time I engaged directly with the pharmacist, while he remained in his preparation area, and enquired as to the brand he stocked.

I was then told that it would be a wait of 25-30 minutes. Upon my return 50 minutes later I then had to wait another 40 minutes when, finally, the pharmacist himself came to the counter and informed me that he didn't have enough in stock as he only had half the quantity in my enquiry/script.

I said to him that "I had that question asked if you the very moment I got served."
His was response was inadequate at best. (He blamed the young staff member)

Either he is incompetent in his stock control or the ability to see from his system that he didn't in fact have enough in stock. Or, he is withholding his stock for locals an not allowing travellers to access it. Which is not allowed under the relevant act/guidelines. Regardless, if it is the latter, he should have said up front that he "had no stock" and it would have allowed me enough time to get to the next town with a pharmacy.

Sadly the most unpleasant pharmacist I’ve had to deal with. I’m sorry you didn’t have stock of what I needed, but I didn’t need a “serve” like you gave,
“I’m running a business here, and can’t keep stock of everything “. ………, I did respond, “it’s not a problem”
Just glad I’m not subject to that approach with other pharmacies and my script requirements. 😬

The pharmacist was rude and arrogant and treated the female staff like absolute rubbish. I wanted to tell him to get some meds from his own stash to chill out a bit. Arrogant and rude

The most expensive chemist in Qld if not australia.yes very slow service and inflated prices . due to manopoly .and no public transport in Cardwell it pays to go to Tully or Ingham for your medicine.

RUDEST, MOST ARROGANT PHARMACIST I HAVE EVER ENCOUNTERED!!!!!
