Weyba Mangrove Boardwalk

Short but sweet boardwalk circuit just next to the Farmer's market with very informative signage about mangroves and the wildlife you might encounter. Flat and wide enough for wheelchairs, it was on the dry side given it has not rained much. Although it seems there are no wildlife about leep a lookout for the crabs and the osprey nesting in the power pole nearby. Only a small amount of parking but plenty at the oval next door.

It's a short 300m circuit through the mangroves. Really well presented and accesability is great.
If you like bird watching, there is an Osprey nest on the power pole as you begin the circuit. I saw a family of 3 feeding.
If your lucky you may also see a mangrove kingfisher.
Lots of Australian Ibis and some heron.

We loved the boardwalk over the bridge ,great ebike tracks in the area

Easy flat small 300m loop walk with plenty of information signs. Small fish other animals easily spotted.

Amazing Boardwalk!

worth a visit

A lovely walk as you are in nature’s sifting of the sea. Would like to go here early morn or early evening to see crabs. Very interesting. Information boards to read. And so nice to Walk over the bridge.

A short, informative walk with plenty of crustaceans to see if you look closely. Easy access to car park.

A short, level walk from the car-park on Weyba Road leads to a board-walk circuit immersed in a real mangrove environment. Several shady wooden benches and informative signs about the surrounding mangrove ecology make this a great spot to muse awhile and experience one of Noosa's much-loved natural places. Wheelchair accessible.

Fairly small boardwalk, will only take 10 mins to wander around. Although worth a look I thought there would be more.

The boardwalk is a unique way to experience the mangroves.
