I ran into trouble in town and needed to replace my alternator but I needed a big socket which wasn’t available to buy in town, I popped in to borrow one as I had the parts and was fitting it myself and was expecting to do it all myself but a legend helped me and diagnosed some problems for me without charging me and knew my car at a quick glance just by the part I brought in, definitely knows what he’s doing and kind! Would bring my van here if I needed things done for sure

Finished the Creb track after sunset, and ran into some rear diff lock issues. Pat came out that night to assess the satuation. Came back in the morning on a Saturday and got it all sorted. Absolute top bloke that knows his stuff and goes above and beyond that is expected. I do Google reviews probably once a decade, so that gives you an idea how impressed I am with their service.

Working our way down the coast from Cape York. Friday evening my alternator died. Pat came out that night and confirmed I needed a new one. Pat & Luke organized to get the job done on Saturday morning to keep me moving onto my next paid destination. These guys went above and beyond to accomplish a miracle.

Very happy! Car broke down during a road trip. Although they were booked out managed to squeeze my car in and did a great job at a very reasonable price, I expected more. Hopefully my car doesn't brake again but if it does and I'm in this area this is where I'll go. Thanks guys!

To be honest I am surprised to be the first review on here considering that Burmack is a local's business with steadfast quality and just the friendliest old-school 'nothing is too much trouble approach' to their clients. These guys ALWAYS have a smile, ALWAYS have a moment to spare and ALWAYS find a way to help (even if the garage is already overflowing with cars). I take my hat off to their approach to business - especially in our fast-moving society where this kind of service is sadly becoming a thing of the past. Had a front CV joint boot fail, contacted them and they ordered the part two days later took 4wd in at 7am completed at 10 am quoted price was very reasonable, nice people friendly and efficient. Highly recommend.

Tyre disintegrated 20km north of Mossman late Saterday. Towed into Mossman by Pat, who could not be more helpful.

They repaired the rim and fitted a new tyre on Monday.
