Top little camp ground. Long drop toilet but it's pretty good considering. Only 5 camp spots so not crowded. Bring your own water.

Quiet. Loads of birdlife - finches, wrens, water birds. Marsupial mice come out at night. Camping on the waters edge, kayaking is easy. And there is internet. 👍

Nice compact little campground . Lakes edge can get a bit muddy . Toilets on site. Violet hill better option as wharf and boat ramp. Swimming better at violet hill.

Nice camp site with toilets and ok phone reception, 5G two to three bars. Water access for small paddle boats, kayak or canoes no boat ramp.

Had Bungaree Bay Campground to myself. Probably because there is lots of mossies, no boat ramp, no jetty and the waters edge is muddy. Nearby Violet hill campground was very busy because it has the opposite of all those things. However I was there for a piece of peace and quiet and I got quite a lot of that. The toilet was clean with no smell. The hand basin had a drain blocked by food scraps. A selfish person had washed their dishes in it despite there being a sign specifically stating that the basin was only for the washing of hands.

Great place to camp. Peaceful, basic amenities, swimming in the lake is your bath, bring your own water & firewood.

Nice little campground to get away from it all. There are only 5 sites so overcrowding is not a problem. The swimming is not great as there is a lot of silt and it smells when disturbed, although, the beautiful scenery truely makes up for that. Brilliant for kayaks.
There are many native plants on show and the casuarinas put on a great talk fest when the wind blows, very nice to fall asleep to.
Good bush loo, phone & television reception.
All considerered, this is a very peaceful and relaxing spot well worth a look!
