The Lady Jane Motel

Rang just after closing time to organise a family room . Staff were great to deal with , friendly and helpful. Arrived at 11pm and lights were left on in room for us . WOW the room was absolutely amazing, very comfortable beds , clean . Even had our own tree in our room ( you have to stay to see what I mean 👍) The hand made plumbing for shower head and taps was so cool. From the outside does look a little old but can definitely not complain about our stay .

A great overnight stop. The room was incredibly clean and comfortable with a charming rustic touch. We stayed in the 'Rustic Deluxe Twin Queen' room which suited our family of four. The complimentary bikkies and drink at check in was a nice touch. We ate at the Pizza Cafe and it was great. Room service brekkie was available to order, however we had to leave too early so couldn't take advantage of it. The whole team was friendly and more than happy to make our stay awesome. This is a little gem of a motel and will be our first preference for our next road trip.

Unbelievable… we were stunned by this place . Not only conveniently located for a stop over headed north from Sydney . Plenty of room for boat , trailer or van . Rooms were modest however comfortable with nice sheets +spic and span. Excellent wood fired pizza ‘genuine home made crust. Home made cookies a treat. Coffee bags rather than instant coffee was greatly appreciated.
Great to see your bottle shop stocked with a cast array of wines and premixes.
Im considering a seal rocks scuba dive weekend shortly and would happily stay with your establishment again . Feels like home .

Picked this spot because it was the halfway point on a 2 day drive. So glad we did! The place was gorgeous, the double Queen room was generous and sparklingly clean. The decor was very on theme, the logs converted to power points/bedside tables were a particular fave. And Power points! So many! All phones and devices charged without arguments for the trip home. The staff were lovely. The pizzas served in the restaurant were delicious and a lot of thought has gone into the bottle shop attached to a small town hotel. The whole experience wildly exceeded my expectations and I'd like to thank everyone for such a lovely stay

Fabulous place for an overnight on the way to Brisbane. Room was spotless and comfortable with 2 x queen beds. Very good value.
In addition to this, there is a great pizza place at the Lady Jane which is sensational. Would highly recommend the motel to all travelers. We will be back.

Great old fashioned friendly service, spacious, comfy, bespoke rooms. Superb pizza restaurant with complementary drink & good prices. Thank you for such an enjoyable stay. We highly recommend.

Amazing room it was so well done with the rustic features. Just gorgeous and very comfy for our family with little kids. Owners are really lovely and left us a cold drink (beer and wine) in the fridge as we were arriving after 8pm. We will be back..would be great with a group of friends to rent a few rooms and explore the area. Plus we want to try the pizza restaurant looks fantastic!!

We loved this place - perfect overnight rest stop on a big trip. Rooms super clean - sheets lovely - coffee bags! Cafe Pizza top shelf...Garlic Prawn with truffle butter - we will be back:).

Friendly and accommodating couple greeted us upon arrival.
The room was complete with lovely hand made timber features.
Dark and quiet with really comfortable beds and pillows.
Some of the best pizzas you will ever taste from the restaurant.
Would recommend to anyone.

This is the cleanest motel I’ve ever stayed at. The floors were so clean I would’ve eaten off of them. Beautiful rooms, accommodating staff. We were in a bind on Good Friday with sick kids and couldn’t make it home. Staff bent over backwards to make it possible for us to hunker down for the night. Six stars!

The Lady Jane is simply the best. Calling from the M1 as we scrambled out of Sydney through peak hour to get a lovely reception on the phone. We booked a room and then was asked as we are turning up later what we were having for dinner? To our amazement we were told we could order pizza and if we missed there close time of 19:30 it would be placed in our room along with a complimentary bottle of wine and a beer. The service is amazing. The room is clean and the bed is very comfortable. This is the place to stop on your adventure.

Beautiful crispy crust pizzas. Who knew that preserved lemon was so good on pizza? The owners are lovely and looked after us really well. If you’re driving on the M1 it’s worth the very slight detour.

This place stands out from all the Motels I have stayed in with the amazing love and care the owners have put into it. The service is 5* the kindness and hospitality is beyond compare. The family that runs it are nicest people you'll ever meet, the kids used pizza dough to make us the amazing breakfast rolls, the pizza is delicious, and it comes with a smile. Beds are comfortable and super clean they use local produce and rain water is purified. It sets a different standard really! All I can say is THANK YOU for having us.

As nice a stay as you could ask for.

Rooms are 50s vintage (so little small, but not tiny), but recently, and tastefully renovated and a large bathroom.

Family run with a friendly vibe. The pizzaria serves Italian style pizza, a thin crust and not overcrowded with ingredients.

We enjoyed our overnight driving break.

Gorgeous little restaurant with a lovely ambiance. The pizzas are DELICIOUS. I was absolutely thrilled as they also have gluten free bases which they make themselves. Without question the best gluten free pizza I’ve ever had. Would highly recommend.

HIGHLY RECOMMENDED. A quaint little older styled motel on the northern outskirts of Bulahdelah. The staff were very friendly and helpful. They have a great liquor store with everything you could want. The restaurant serves delicious pizza and local red wine. The only thing that they didn't have was Wi Fi but that wasn't an issue for me. I will definitely stay here again to break up a road trip north. 5 🌟.

Small and quaint, but very comfortable and the warm, welcoming staff absolutely made our day. The motel has proudly kept its heritage look and feel, while updating the interiors to a high quality. I don't think I've ever felt as welcomed or as at home as I did when we arrived here. The staff all made us feel like we were old friends. Highly recommended.

Had a wonderful stopover at The Lady Jane Bottle Shop [& Motel] last night in Bulahdelah.
Free piccolo of wine & homemade ANZAC biscuits on arrival.
(Counted 14 powerpoints in room!!)
Wandered 20m across carpark to Pizza cafe for dinner.
Calzone & dirty chai delivered to the room for brekky (was a little late as the staff had to wrangle a stray sheep in the carpark first 🐑 ☕).

May not look much from the outside but a great spot.
Will be back when they open the ‘spa suite’ - presently being whittled from a monster tree the area is known for!

Passing through we arrived late afternoon and found everything was perfect. Well priced, friendly, clean, a cold beer and red wine with great pizza n calzone delicious and delivered. Bed was comfy too. 👍
