10/10 mine was a very simple call, it was dealt with professionally and answered on the one phone call. Minimal wait time and very helpful 👍

There's a lot of complaints about fines for parking and so forth, but that's part of the council's job to ensure there's a basic standard for all to appreciate the area (especially since it has a marine park and national park and islands to contend with.

I only ever need a council if it's a rates or living location question etc, and to me Morton Bay council seemed very efficient.

Excellent citizenship ceremony! Our host was so engaging and funny, and all the staff members were so welcoming. Glad to be a part of this community!

From easy parking to friendly customer service. The young woman who served me this morning (26.05.23), assisting with my dog registration, was super friendly, informative, and helpful. Her colleague was, too, and his assistance was very appreciated. 👌

I spoke to Michael re:tree falling down on my fence and another one about to fall. Very helpful and nice to talk to. Put through an urgent request and followed up with an SMS with Request number so I can follow up.. Great work thank you. This is the 3 request I've made in the 8 years I have lived here and all of them have been looked after very well.

We deal with MBRC for the Progress Association as well as organising hall hire for the RFB, honestly they are so helpful in every regard.
Our local councillor Tony Latter is a terrific member and really works for the community.

fabulous service from council today. Amanda has great people skills . Definitely the right person for her job plus knowledgable, helpful and informative. I just wanted to say what a fantastic job your staff are doing on the upkeep of the waterside walkways and parks. They are always courteous and friendly. And congratulations on the Council for the organisation of such a great effort. Many thanks.

I rate this council very highly. Let me tell you a story.

I have quite a small yard and I don't want to keep my bins in the front yard, so I keep them in the run around the side of my house - it was the most logical decision for me. I have an apiary and a large dog so keeping them out of the way is a necessity. I also use the run to store the build up of manure, which I sell for small amounts to various people here and there.

I recently received a letter from the council, the contents of this letter were as follows:

Dear *****,

It has recently come to our attention that there is an odour emanating from your domicile. We are writing this letter to inform you that it has caused a disturbance with some of the local residents.

I'm only writing this review to express my sincere love for the council I live under. They didn't ask me to move it, they didn't tell me they would do something about it, they simply let me know.

The best part of this whole story is I still haven't moved the bins or the manure. Why would someone complain to the council about a smell? Just come ask me! I can find somewhere else for it! I might even write an article for the local paper.

Fast and easy, went in to pay my dogs registration and I was in and out within a minute. The staff where friendly and helpful.

Sharyn who looks after the cemeteries in the Moreton Council region is always helpful and a delight to deal with. the council should employ more people like her
