Envy Deli Cafe

Fantastic little place with very friendly staff and a great selection. Huge serving for the eggs and I had a delicious rice porridge. And their cold press juices are so delicious! Wish we were staying in Sydney longer, would absolutely return to try more.

After I dropped by the work place, I was supposed to meet respectful lady. She introduced the cafe, the ambience was cozy and eco friendly. The muffin which was I ordered was soft and fluffy. I had such a wonderful time with her at the cafe. Accidentally the server was Korean as well. It’s good to have some small talk with her :)

Excellent food and service. Was seated almost immediately. Had the Pulled Pork Wrap; it was quite nice. There's also the option to sit in the jacaranda courtyard, supposedly very nice but it was quite busy when I went so opted to dine inside.

A friend of one of our group recommended this cafe Envy in Summer Hill, in the inner western suburbs of Sydney.
Four of us went for lunch around midday.

The staff were great. The food was excellent as was indicated by four clean plates. The basically all day menu was quite extensive. The food was served quite quickly. All in all a great experience.

We ate in the courtyard under umbrellas. Very nice. The place doesn’t look much from the outside but we would certainly recommend it to one and all.

Had a very casual breakfast here as you can see pictured. Busy little cafe, but service is good and the menu caters to all needs. Coffee was perfect. Prices are reasonable. Happy with my experience and will return

A decades favorite cafe in pretty Sydney suburb of Summer Hill. Easy parking then enjoy the garden dining under the canopy of a glorious huge jacaranda tree. Supper popular with locals great menu, top Toby Estate coffee and cakes and slices to temp all for old fashioned afternoon tea. From Fresh icy juices to Classic Australian breakfast and delicious lunches. Not to be missed if you're visiting the inner west.

Just passing by Summer Hill around lunch time & found Envy Deli Cafe. It's busy here & the reasons are obvious. We had the salmon fillet, coffee & carrot & walnut cake. All were delicious. Service was efficient & with smiles. Highly recommend.

Had a great coffee and cake here. The coffee was actually superb - a brilliant roast, not bitter at all, and nice latte art. The service was prompt and attentive. Highly recommended!

Can’t count the amount of time I have traveled to eat here. Today on Mother’s Day was one of their busiest days! With double the tables, they were still able to keep up with the pace. Wait times were a little longer but the Peter manager with his awesome crew handled it like legends. Thank you for the continued level of amazing food that you deliver along with your excellent service.

Love the atmosphere here, staff are friendly and the coffee is perfect. I wish they had more GF/DF items on the menu, however the bacon and egg roll was made GF for me the other day and it was delicious. A great place to bring a friend or your laptop to do some work.

Personally, I think this place is fantastic. My friends and I love coming here and sitting in the yard. The jacaranda is gorgeous especially during oct and nov. Mushroom on toast and strawberry cheese cake are the best. Every week I come here since this cafe is just like a siren call to me.

08/Jul//20. First time coming back since the Pandemic happened, everything is as good as always. Thank you for helping to get part of my normal routine back. Love the Vienna Bread and mushroom.

Stopped in here after a nearby appointment. Excellent coffee and the fluffiest scones I have had outside a CWA stall at a country fair! Staff were very friendly too. I’m definitely coming back.

Very happy with this local cafe, delicious burger with freshly cooked chips and the coffee was perfect as well!

I went to this cafe several times, and it is one of my favourite in inner west. Not only they make very delicious brunch, the bakery is also amazing. Definitely recommended!!

I love this place. Lovely people. Great food. Interesting options. Great coffee. Just everything and anything you could want in a great cafe. Probably the best in Summer Hill easily. Highly recommend coming here.

This is a great little cafe in Summer Hill. From the front it looks like there are only a few seats however there is a larger courtyard out the back with a beautiful tree in the middle. The Cafe serves an all day breakfast until 4pm(ish) with a full lunch menu as well. The cakes at this cafe are great, we didn’t have any this visit but have previously had the chocolate brownie which comes warmed with icecream !! The meals aren’t overly large, I had the pumpkin and feta pie that comes with a small salad and husband had the burger which had a small amount of fries in the side. Overall the food is good quality, it comes out quickly and the service is super friendly.

Great little corner cafe, filled with lovely staff, a suprisingly large courtyard area, gorgeous tree and homemade treats.
FOOD: Great selection of homely cafe typical foods: big brekkie, sandwiches, salads etc alongside some stand out Envy chef creations. All fresh and served up well. They cater to gluten free, vegan and vegetarians. They're pretty reasonably priced too!
STAFF: A huge drawback, a few years back a couple of the staff were that bad, I stopped going. These last two visits, everyone was efficient, friendly and warm. Cannot rate them highly enough! The have a South American guy in the kitchen and another guy out front (maybe the manager/owner) who are exceptionally friendly, competent and passionate about their jobs.
ACCESSIBILITY: Prams, wheelchair access available at the side view the courtyard. I'm not sure the bathrooms would fit/suit a wheelchair.
Free parking available on street or in shopping car park (2 hour limit, be warned, we were booked!)
OVERALL: Love the homely feel of this place and the currently changing smorgasbord of treats. The shakshuka and gf Persian love cake were so good I forgot to take a pic!

Love having breakfast and brunch here on the regular, best coffee I’ve ever had too!

Envy Breakfast is consistently good which is why I keep coming back every week. The juices are good too. Service is fast and the staff and very friendly and helpful. If you sit outside you might get some leaves blown in your drink but it comes with dining outdoors in the lovely sunshine. It's easy to rock up with 2 people but if you have more you should book in advance. The atmosphere is couples and family, so expect prams to he parked nearby tables.
