In Gawler for trip to see Nephew who has had major surgery. Needed to visit A&E for myself. What fantastic staff! Nurse Victoria thank you so much, very compassionate and funny really relaxed me for the slice, dice and shove. After my experience can’t believe any bad reviews

What An Amazing Hospital. So clean. Emergency Department I cannot fault at all. It is small but the waiting time was just over an hour. Both Nurses and Doctors were very compassionate, kind and empathetic. Special shout out to Nurse Sharon AKA Nanny Shaz You are an an absolute asset to the Hospital.

I see some older reviews are not that positive. My recent one week stay was nothing but positive. In one month Ihave been an inpatient at the Mac, RAH and Gawler. The Mac is a hell hole, the RAH is pretty good but Gawler beats the lot. Excellent nurses who are very attentive, Doctors...Well, that's a toss up and the food is the best out of all three hospitals mentioned. Under the circumstances I would rather be sent to Gawler than anywhere else.

Gawler Hospital (Galwler Health Services) is an asset for Gawler Town, from first point of contact at Customer Service counter Ms. Fiona and Ms. Talia is very helpful in assisting your inquiry; and Ms. Liz and Ms. Belinda is very warm and professional in their respective department.

I can't highly recommend this establishment to everyone, and to the staff above thank you so much for your kind welcome and expert advice; kudus to all!

Fabulous place to give birth! Cannot fault my pregnancy support and birth of our daughter at Gawler Health Service. Truly supportive staff and excellent facilities.

Kate from the One2One program was the best support any pregnant/labouring woman could ask for.

My husband Peter, was in Duldig Ward for many weeks with a debilitating illness which left him totally unable to move. The staff were efficient, kind and caring and I thank them from the bottom of my heart, for the compassion they showed him and my family through out this difficult time.

Tonight was very busy, however staff were very well organised and efficient. Dr. That was on and saw my son was professional and provided great care. Thank you Gawler Health Service

Was taken by Ambulance at 5 am to the Gawler Hospital. On arrival i was met by the most friendly nurses and Doctor that you could meet.
Unfortunately i had to be admitted for two days. The staff in the hospital could not do enough for me and explained everything that they were doing and for what reason. The Doctor Amos who attended to me was the same explained what was wrong and what they were going to do. Great staff, Great Doctor and great follow up. Highly recommend the Gawler Health Service and we are lucky to have the Hospital in our area.

In May this year I presented at emergency after attending another hospital and not getting what I really needed as I was in terrible pain and sent home. I asked my son to drive me to Gawler Hospital where I received assistance from very caring nurses and doctors who listened and helped me through a tough time. 3 nights in hospital to manage the pain in my leg, coxic, knee and foot. I asked for additional MRI scanning which they provided in a form for me to do after the pain was under control. Guess what?! Yep, a subchondral fracture in my Femur.
Thank you GHS for fantastic care and helping me on the road to recovery.

Very good. Treated my son and I very well after COVID checks, very nice doctor and nurse.
Don't go if you do not NEED TO. YOU WILL WAIT MANY HOURS AS PRIORITY IS WITH PEOPLE WHO NEED IT MOST.

Unfortunately had to take my friend into the hospital after a fall last night. The nurses and the doctor on duty were absolutely fantastic, second to none. We are so lucky to have such an amazing service here in Gawler with wonderful staff. Much appreciated.

Waited 3 hrs in after hours gp but it's flu season so can't be helped. Staff were friendly and approachable. Love that masks were provided and encouraged to be worn.

Took my husband to emergency section.....what a brilliant service.....we are just so impressed by the work of the nursing staff and drs.....fortunately nothing drastic and would like to say a big thankyou to all staff for their excellent work . 👏👏👏 .

Barossa and Light Cab Service highly recommend Gawler Health Service. There are so much facilities here, for regional and country patients. The Gawler hospital is 5 star rated in the eyes of Barossa and Light Cab Service. There is also an emergency afterhours department here. The staff, nurses and Doctors are all very professional and friendly. The hospital is located off Lyndoch rd, making it very accessable. There is also plenty of car parking available.
