As soon as we walked in the door of the pub we knew it was going to be a great place to stay.
The hospitality, food, atmosphere were excellent.
Our room was nice and cosy, having access to the balcony was a lovely bonus, especially to sit with beer on sunset.
This place is the epitome of old country style and hospitality, thanks for a wonderful stay!!

We were told the food was good and it certainly was! A beautiful old, well restored hotel with a nice atmosphere. Definitely worth a visit during the hot or cold months I’d say 👍

What a great little country pub it has been refurbished and has that old country feel about it. Meals were very generous so you don’t go home hungry. Staff were friendly and welcoming, if your out this way drop in have a few beers and a good meal

Great place to stay. Stayed here in September 2022 with my wife and some friends. Magnificently renovated country hotel. Laurie and Carolyn are great hosts. We all enjoyed are dinner in the restaurant and it was the best meal we had during our trip around the Wheatbelt Way. Will definitely be going back for a longer stay.

Was in a group of 5 people who had a meal at the hotel this evening. I couldn’t believe how extensive the menu was. We all had different meals- steak, pizza, chicken and burgers. All were VERY good and reasonably priced. For a hotel to offer this in a small country town in the middle of the week is incredible.
Really impressed.

This is probably my favourite pub. The owners are really friendly and talkative. The food is amazing and the rooms are really cool! I always visit them every year.

Our group of 6 had a wonderful overnight stay in clean well presented rooms, recently renovated bathrooms and splendid dining area. The Hotel is faithfully restored with a friendly bar providing genuine hospitality.
The dinner was served quickly and was tasty and well presented. Bangers and mash was top class while friends enjoyed a generous T Bone and fish and chips. Good Pub fare. Breakfast is help yourself and has a good variety available at all hours. Well recommended.

Beautifully maintained pub with clean, comfortable accommodation upstairs. Owners are friendly, meals are cheap and delicious and included continental breakfast the best I’ve come across so far. This place should be the destination not just the place to stay. Highly recommend.

Nice country pub! Friendly hosts, rooms were clean and well presented. We explored the Army Museum and Eaglestone Rock in the area. Plenty of wildflowers around too. Would stay here again.

Quite possibly the tastiest meal I've had on this trip! The shearer salad was absolutely perfect, lamb cooked to perfection, everything was soo tasty! Delicious!

The decor was like a well presented mini-museum to sheep shearing and the locals enjoyed giving us the low down.

My husband went here with 7 other people, they were at the military museum and the museum recommended they go there for lunch but it was almost 2pm and the kitchen closes at 2pm. The museum phoned The Woolshed to say 8 people were coming for lunch and they agreed to keep the kitchen open for them. When they got there the only thing on the menu was roast beef and gravy rolls so they ordered 8. The price was fantastic and included a pint and chips. Everybody raved about how good the beef and gravy rolls were (even the next day!) They thought the staff were really friendly and they were well impressed that they kept the kitchen open for them on Grand Final day.

A big thanks from the Leyland P76 Club of WA 😁

Best Pub I went so far, ice cold tap beer and a great beergarden. Delicious meals, specially the chickenparmy. Happy hour on Monday, Wednesday and Friday from 5-7pm and don't miss to chase the ace on Saturdays. Lots of price's and a big jackpot to crack.

We didn't stay, we visited for the searchlight party on the 5th March. We decided to have dinner at the hotel first. We had to wait for 30 minutes to order and a hour for the food to be served, but ... I don't mind because I realise that the hotel was understaffed so it was ok and the food and service was top notch We'll be back 😊

In a small community like Nungarin hotels like this keep a town viable and thriving. Good spot to grab a feed or stay the night. Seems as of October 2023 the place is closed and up for sale.

A beautiful and nostalgic country experience. My girlfriend and I stayed a night at the Woolshed and we're very impressed. The hotel condition, service, food and price were all excellent. We would gladly return and readily recommend it to others.
