Eaglestone Rock

I love Eagle Stone, a great spot for some rock climbing, relaxing, bird watching, and wildflowers.
The salt lake out here is the perfect backdrop for sunset or a beautiful foreground for a stunning sunrise.

Good campsite off the beaten track.

It is an easy drive into the open camp grounds. There were full sized vans in there, we took a camper and had no issues. A few little washouts, but easy to traverse.

There is next to no wood there, so make sure to bring your own.

Lovely hidden gem, with interesting rock formations and caves next to salt lake (dry when we visited). Campground relatively small however no one else was here when we visited. Make sure you're self sufficient if you're staying as there are no facilities. Well worth a look.

Awesome place. Easy enough climb up most of the rock ( for mature types ) & stunning views over lakes, bushland and farms.

Amazing camping, hiking and a little bit of 4x4ing. Beautiful views too.

Great spot, plenty of space to camp and nice and clean. Seems the drop toilet has been removed though? Definatly a nice place to stop

Great camping spot with large salt lake to explore. Try and get a camping spot up near the rock as the areas down near the salt lake can get crowded during typically busy times.

For the adventurous (and while not advocating going on private property), you can drive to many areas around the salt lake if you want a more isolated camping experience.

Some great views, easy walks, giant rocks, slabs, paths. It's worth stopping in. You might find folks trying to climb the big boulder too. No toilets

One of natures beautys indeed if people who visit take away their rubbish and enjoy the beauty of this place and leave it litter free, it will remain a beautiful spot for all

Great place for rock climbing. Nice panoramic views from higher elevation.

This place was an amazing climb I would recommend it to anyone who feels like a small climb
