The service was amazing. I had to transfer some money to settle the property and I was afraid that transfer will not be finalised on time. Branch manager Monica was extremly helpfully. She contacted the financial team to make sure that the transfer will not be delayed. She waived the fee and the whole process was only 20 min compared to CBA 60 min. I will definitely recommend to visit this branch and Bank In Melbourne in general.

Lovely staff here - my brief encounter with Keisha was wonderful. She assisted me with my request promptly and was so sweet and friendly. Definitely prefer coming here compared to my local branch now!

I have seen some comments here with one star but actually for other branches which is bit unfair.

Staff is helpful but the staff at the counter didn't wear a mask properly, obviously the mask just cover his mouth but not the nose . So I am quite uncomfortable to stay there so long, sirpeised that the bank don't have strict policy on it consider now have 1450 Covid case daily.

Yesterday I visited this branch to query home loan issues, the appointment with the lender is 3pm. When I arrived at it, I want to find the help counter. I saw a person is queueing in front a female staff counter, so I went there for serving. But a male staff wearing white shirt said to me “Grab a sit in”, I didn’t understand it at first because I am not a native speaker and he spoke very fast, I didn’t catch him immediately, then he shouted to me “Grab the sit in”, oh, I understood what he mean, but I don’t understand why he shout quickly instead of kind attitudes. I didn’t meet such thing before and feel awkward at that time, I had to go back to find a seat far away from the counter. As a first time potential customer, I feel the customer service is bad at that time. Although the later talk with the home loan lender is good, and my financial broker recommended NAB and Bank of Melbourne for home loan options for $1,000 cash back for new purchases, I feel CBA is a better choice because its good customer service. Sometimes the customer service is a direct reflection of the internal management style and help you make a decision. My feeling on Bank of Melbourne is good before this, but changed since yesterday. I won’t recommend you come to this BOM branch. I am sorry to BOM. It’s a pity.

I've been with this bank for a number of years now and all I'm getting is more closures of banks.
The bank in Port Melbourne closed the bank in South Melbourne closed and the bank in Prahran closed. The only banks I've got left is in the city and there's only two and there's always something that you can't do with the bank.
Please bank of Melbourne open up a bank close to Port Phillip City council

Very arrogant staff, and poor exprience. I have no idea about what it means to renovate the branch so fancy, with slogans demonstrating it is a customer-centred bank, but provide such lackluster and disappointing customer service.
The significance of this flashy and unrealistic branch in such financial hub of Melbourne may only be for stock prices of Westpac, but the service it provides haha.
If you are an Asian, come and tolerate their efficiency and professionalism. It is not racism, I am Asian too. You will be satisfied by the noble bankers at our honorable Bourke Pavilion Branch.

Accounts cannot be managed online, had to call and come to the branch for very basic tasks. For example, opened an account 4 months ago and didn't receive a debit card, staff at this branch was unable to help.

48hrs for a transfer of $1000 from bank of melbourne to anz via the app is not acceptable in 2023, we can send remote control cars to other planets and have computers that control sophisticated medical and military systems but small transfers take days. I tell people to stay away your systems are too slow.

This review is for chadstone branch.
Christine branch manager was useless and incompetent, did not even attempt to help me, all she did was say no we can’t help you.
Sara the teller was also incompetent at her job, she did not know how to fix simple tasks. The two staff, do not have any listening skills, which made them unable to follow simple instructions. The staff at the chadstone branch always seem panicked. Christine and Sara looked for the easy way out, simple fix even thought it wasn’t right course for customer need and request. I think they like the silence to much in the branch that they get lazy, and can’t wait to get customer in and out quick, without thinking what’s best for there customers. That stems from bad leadership.
