Best value accommodation I have experienced to date. The cabin was self contained quiet, and very comfortable. The dinner at the venue a stones throw away was unreal, and was discounted while residing at the Hotel. The staff were extremely friendly.

Went for a lazy Sunday drive on 17/3/24 with our kids and decided to stop here for lunch. Our miss 7 is anaphylactic to eggs . We asked if they could accommodate us expecting the usual challenges. Well,the waitress went above and beyond. She suggested alternatives and also consulted the chef. The service was impeccable all round. We felt at home! The food well priced and tasty. I highly recommend especially with young kids. There's a park across the road to burn off the energy before getting back in the car.

Stopped in for lunch on Tuesday the 30th of April. All the girls in the bar and restaurant were exceptional! One of them even glad wrapped my soup to allow me to take it home ....on the bike ! Above and beyond! Thanks guys

If you are looking for a great cheap place to stay ( $15 UP $25P )with exceptional pub menu that is absolutely delicious!! Then this is your place!
The meals were fantastic!! And the staff are great and welcoming!!

Hubby and I are in our van in the caravan park out back. Great price at $25 p/n power, water and sewerage. Lovely clean amenities including a free washing machine. The road noise wasn't bad and died down during the night. Meals at the hotel 20% discount (if you're staying) and very reasonably priced anyway. TAB, a small pokie machine area and various dining and drinking areas, all clean and nicely decorated. Extensive menu and great yummy food. Special mention, all staff we have met are exceptionally friendly, helpful and happy making the whole experience so much more enriching. Looking forward to the next couple of nights. Our sincere thanks to the entire team here, this has been one of the best stays in our 5 years of being on the road! 👍

I stayed with my caravan a couple of days ago.
I found the bar staff really friendly.
However one night I took away a Pork and Pineapple Jamaican curry.
What a delight. Lovely after taste just superb.

Went there for a meal with friends. Good quality food at decent prices. Nothing flash, but a good country pub with a good range of beers on tap.
20% discount for seniors. I had the chicken carbinara. Highly recommended. Only problem was the serving was so big I couldn't eat it all!

We love going out to Hotel Beandon for dinner! They are amazing with the kids. My kids can be a bit crazy but they don't mind, and they give them a helium balloon!

Meals are good pub meal. The team there are always happy to accommodate my daughter's allergies.

Great place for a day trip from Townsville and enjoy a meal and a couple cold drinks we had the most amazing flathead with chips from the specials board we will be going back everyone was happy helpful and easy to talk to

Bar and wait staff were lovely! They didn't have any rib-eye left and we're extremely apologetic about it. They even gave us a complimentary drink because we had ordered already which was a nice gesture. The food was delicious nonetheless. Well done guys :)

Staff and patrons are friendly...Food was great and reasonably priced..Beer was cold...I'll visit again!

Amazing Ribs. Best Ribs I have ever had! Just absolutely fall of the bone at the lightest touch. We are staying here in one of the cabins connected to the pub so it's a Goto for our night in. The specials are always changing they have some delightful choices of parmigiana (including a Mexican). The locals are all warm and friendly, making you feel welcome. The members card is free sign up and works off a points system.
As for the accommodation it is very spacious. There is some maintenance that needs to be done but understandable when Hotel Brandon only changed hands less than a year ago. We are staying in one of the 2 two bedroom cabins which has a full size fridge, a washing machine, a dryer and a dishwasher as well as air cons in every room. I highly recommend for a long stay where you want to do your own thing on your own time.

Brilliant food. Quite large servings tho. Choice of salads or veges with your dish. Nice attmosphere.

Staff super friendly and helpful, beer cold and spirits priced well. Had the Alabama Parmi! Best Parmi I’ve eaten in a longtime.
