The portions here are pretty huge so if you are a small eater then definitely share with your partner or friends. The place is catered for take away and has limited seating. Nice place to stop for fish and chips and they do provide vinegar with the chips if asked.

Lots of local seafood at good prices.

Ordered the local snapper and chips for $13.50.
The crumbs were golden, crisp and stuck to the fish. The snapper portion was generous. Chips golden and crisp and well salted.

Went and the queue and waiting was incredible - waited for 1 hour and 40 minutes.

Homemade seafood salad for $5.50
Not of seafood extender and prawns. The sauce had a nice acidic vinegar bite to it.

The lady taking the order had nice handwriting and was very efficient.

I cant fault them. While staying in hervey bay, we went twice in one week. It was that good, plus its right next to the beach and the area had many public pinic tables for eating on.

We went around lunch time, both times and even at 11am they had a little line starting already. The staff are so incredibly friendly and they gave us great service! The portion sizes where large (whiched we liked because we couldnt get enough of the freshness), and we ordered the fish and chips packs both times. The fish was cooked perfectly and I just love a good hot chip and these were bloody good chips. Don't walk past this store and don't worry about waiting in line. Its well worth it.

We went around lunch time, as we’d walked past multiple times and it always seemed to have someone collecting or people sat on the table outside! So looked like a good spot!

Portion sizes where large (in our opinion) and we enjoyed sharing our food! We enjoyed the seafood supper, nuggets and burger - I’m aware we should’ve had more seafood but we really enjoyed the burger and nuggets too!

Fish and scallops in the supper tasted fresh. Well crumbled/battered and the chips where well cooked, not soggy, not burnt.

The burger we got as a random side but it was really nice. Absolutely huge! All accompaniments, salad, beetroot, sauce etc!

Would recommend!

Great fish and chip shop. Probably the best I have been. Only complaint is that I got 2 rubbery pieces of Snapper. The other 3 were perfect. I guess they must have just been older pieces. Chips were perfect. I would highly recommend for value, service and most times the food.

A little gem on the esplanade. Have been there a few times over the years ( inc today) and I rarely review anything, but the fish in particular is always so wonderfully fresh and cooked perfectly. I'll return!

Bought some fish and chips which we ate across the road at some tables in the park. The fish was fresh and the crumbs were crispy, the chips were hot and not oily. We received a huge serve, great value for money. We'll be back next time we're in the Bay👍

Found this fish n chip on Google Map when I planned my trip to Hervey Bay. And they didn't disappoint me 👍
Their all seafood were fresh. We ordered those items just $70+, which was really worthy.

We always come here for our fish and chips. I recommend it. I wish they had a display of numbers so you could relax and just keep an eye on progress rather than having to stand around straining your ears. Its popular so there is a wait at peak times.

Best meal of my holiday by a mile, I'm home now and still day dreaming about this perfect dinner. Incredible selection of fresh fish, prawns and sea scallops grilled to perfection, and a couple of crispy potato scallops to finish it off. So busy! But great team working efficiently, with a friendly and welcoming manner. Thank you!

Always had a great meal from here. Dedicated fryer for ceoliac safe chips. Gluten free grilled fish. Very busy but made our meal promptly.
