An excellent place to get warm friendly service and a tasty fresh meal.
Thank you to Cassie and the crew in the kitchen for welcoming us and cooking us a wonderful meal.
I will definitely be returning here next time I'm in Hervey Bay.

As long time regulars we decided to have our wedding at Bay Central Tavern . Table set up, decorations , music and facility provided for our celebrant everything went smoothly and a great time was had by all .
Accomodating around 45 guests , meal and drink service was on point considering staff had the rest of the tavern to serve as well.
EVERYONE said it was one if the best they’ve been too !
This is a reflection on the excellent bar staff , wait staff, the marvellous kitchen guys , (EVERYONE said the Humptydoo Baramundi was the best ) mangers Ali , Lauren and Paul , Thankyou our day could not have been any better ,

Rainy day finished shopping and called in for lunch before heading back to Gayndah. We have been here many years ago with friends for drinks . Great lunch 😋 meal were big serves we coukd have shared lol , nice cold beer 🍺 and comfy place to eat . We chose inside not on the verandah due to rain . Will keep this in mind when in The Bay and want a good reasonable priced meal .

I am a regular at the tavern and will always come back for more! The food is incredible and the service top notch. These guys know how to cook a steak and make the perfect drink. Love the service from Jal and Naya!

After a bad experience at another venue we are so happy with Bay Central tavern. Mj was great at booking our table and her bar service was excellent, Anna was extremely helpful with our children and Steve is always a fantastic help. The team is is great and we love coming here. My pizza was excellent and the risotto was fantastic

Great tavern ,Steak was well Rested/cooked to my liking (Med Rare) , and seasoned well .salad was fresh .Thanks Chef and team.0à

Oh my gosh! We were here tonight to celebrate my daughter’s birthday. The food is always delicious and serves are enormous, service is always exceptional… great venue for any celebration! Thank you so much! Looking forward to visiting again! Thank you everyone! Especially Steve!

Our meal and service was fantastic. The team led by Paul was exceptional. MJ and Steve at the bar were great and I would like to mention Anna on the deck who did a great job ensuring our two young children were looked after. After a few port experiences at other venues were are delighted with the Bay Central Tavern. I forgot to mention the food was great and reasonably price, especially the pizza and rissotto

Always enjoy coming here when in town, Not only the is the food amazing, fast service, staff very accommodating and always friendly! Paul, Kim and tiger king, you guys are so dedicated and your what make this place go round! Best in the bay! 💯💯

Love going to the Tavern, Central location which is great, amazing service, bar staff are funny and friendly and make awesome cocktails! Food is awesome, generous sizes as well so if your hungry its the place to go! Bar staff MJ and Stephen were a laugh a minute and super helpful thanks guys!

Yet another fabulous meal at the Bay Central...our third in 14 days! We have never had a bad steak...always medium rare, juicy and tender and their Sweetlip and Barra dishes are to die for. Paul (Manager?) is so obliging and sets a great example...always polite, works incredibly hard and seems to be everywhere! We love dining here and will be back again next week!

Great staff, Super cold drinks, OYSTERS are the one of the best in town, but need more bacon on there! FREE Pool well we all love a game of pool and it’s about the environment n not trying to rip everyone off.

We've been travelling throughout QLD for the last 6 months and our meals at Bay Central Tavern are great value and taste. 4 times we ordered battered fish, chips and salad. Staff were very friendly.

Food is fantastic and the service is second to none. Special shout out to our waiter Steve who went out of his way to make our night great. Thanks Steve!

Visiting from Newcastle NSW we experienced an enjoyable dinner on the verandah. We were served by a lovely young man JAL. We look forward to coming back.

We recently held my husband's surprise 40th birthday in the sports bar, and it was just wonderful. Paul and the team went above and beyond to accommodate my requests; the food and service was great; and everyone had an amazing evening.

Kel is absolutely awesome! Such a great place to come chill out, eat great food with a huge menu and quick happy service. Kel is the absolute best bar maid ever 🌟
