Sanctuary Palm Cove

This was a fantastic location very close to Palm Cove with all the amenities. It was wonderful spending time by the pool with all the necessary facilities and more, including a cold drinking water tap, showers, toilets, bbq, sinks, and fridge. The apartment was huge and lovely. Very nice.

If you’re looking for a great value in Palm Cove, this is the place to be for a family or a large group of friends. Nicely decorated, large and functional apartments in a secluded part of the beach. Lovely pool area.

A wonderful experience with the kindest and most generous hosts. A great and quiet location, walking distance to the esplanade in Palm Cove without the hustle and bustle. Really nice big pool for cooling off. Would visit again

The name fits this beautiful place so well. It is indeed a sanctuary. Gerhard Jr the owner is so helpful and made wonder suggestions for our tours, arranged bookings and we had so much fun. We stayed in a 3 bedroom, it is spacious, clean and so comfortable. The location is just a walk away to the beach, lots of restaurants within walking limits. We will definitely come back in the near future. Thanks for having us

Loved everything about this place. The units are so spacious and well appointed - great for families/couples. The staff is so accommodating and friendly. They allowed us a 4pm checkout with no charge and even personally transported us to Cairns for a snorkel trip. The property has a great location with easy and quick access to all restaurants and shops. HIGHLY recommend this property.

Sanctuary is simply wonderful! What an incredible place to stay in Palm Cove. The apartments are spacious, clean, and have everything you could want or need. All the little things are taken care of (dishwashing tablets, washing machine tablets, coffee pods etc), so you are set from the minute you walk in. The pool is relaxing and set amongst the lagoon and gorgeous shady trees, and the service was top notch. Highly recommend, we will be coming back for sure!

Beautiful, spacious, very clean apartment and glorious gardens. 25 metre pool, minutes to beach and esplanade but in a quiet location. It has everything you need including fully equipped kitchen and several balconies. Managers extremely friendly, honest and helpful. There is no supermarket in Palm Cove and the one convenience store I found was not easy to find. If you don't have a car, suggest you order in food online with Woolworths or Coles - worked very well for me. Tours easy to organise from Sanctuary Palm Cove and they'll pick you up and drop you off. The resort also has a lovely car you can hire.

We had a wonderful recent stay at Sanctuary Palm Cove and cannot recommend it highly enough for a family stay.

The resort is wonderful and run by a fabulous family who are attentive in their management and customer service but give you enough space too.

Situated just off the main stretch at Palm Cove but far quieter and more relaxing than the bigger resorts we’ll be back here in a flash.

Accommodation was clean, spacious and in great condition.

We asked for a couple of accommodations due to our travel plans and they were immediately met.

We’d preplanned a lot in advance but wish we’d used the resort’s advice on arrival for bookings and planning.

The huge warm quiet swimming pool and loungers are a massive bonus.

Wonderful front office staff. Very helpful. Nice clean units. Amazing size with full kitchen . Great range of toiletries which I think is a bonus !! Nice body lotion too. Would highly recommend staying here. Privacy plus !

The best accommodation in Palm Cove in our opinion. From the moment we checked until we left four days later we were made to feel very welcome. The apartments are well appointed with everything you could need and are so spacious.
The location off the main road means you are away from the noise of the Esplanade and away from the winds that blow in off the coast. The gardens are lush and make you feel like you are in a tropical hideaway. The pool and spa are surrounded by these gardens and give plenty of privacy. There are also bbq facilities by the pool, along with a fridge and food preparation area.
Could not fault the entire experience at Sanctuary Palm Cove and will definitely look to stay there next time we are in Palm Cove.

What a family holiday we have had. This is the second time we have been lucky enough to stay at Sanctuary Palm Cove.

The perfect location for anyone wanting an amazing trip. The manager Gerhard was amazing, he went above and beyond to ensure we had a great stay. Our daughter is 18 months and loved the pool area.

The surrounding setting for the appartments are stunning, natural light, native trees and a beautiful pond. Super relaxing.

We have already booked again for next year!

We absolutely loved our stay at Sanctuary Palm Cove, couldn't recommend highly enough! It was the perfect place to stay for a family like ours with two young kids. The location is amazing, such a short walk to the beach, the shops and cafes, and very easy to get the stroller around. The apartment was very large, spacious and comfortable and had a kitchen and laundry which was unbelievably handy. Our apartment was a short stroll to the beautiful pool which was very kid friendly with a shallow enclosed section adjoining the main pool which the kids absolutely loved. The staff were incredibly friendly and went above and beyond to ensure we had everything we need for a comfortable stay and were full of recommendations on where to go! We will definitely be coming back to stay here next time we're in Palm Cove.

We have been to Palm Cove many times and stayed in other resorts but the people swimming in the pool were right …’once you’ve come to Sanctuary Palm Cove … you don’t want to go any where else’ !!
The Labuschagne family who run the resort are the absolute best. Nothing is too hard and they are always there to chat and ensure you are having a wonderful stay. This was our first ’family’ holiday with a grandchild and thankfully Sanctuary made it so easy for us. We hired the cot, high chair, bath seat and pram from their ‘hire pool’- this was fantastic for us travelling from interstate but is ideal for any family.
We have booked in for next year and this time we won’t hire a vehicle because they have you can hire- doesn’t get any better😊
Highly recommend Sanctuary Palm Cove- a must stay in FNQ

We were a family of 15 who stayed for 6 days, we had 2x3 bedroom appts and 1x2 bedroom. The appts were spotlessly clean, very comfortable and spacious and in lovely surrounds close to the beach and restaurants. My younger grandchildren loved swimming in the pool. Both Gerard Snr and Jnr were very helpful before and after we arrived with suggestions on what to do and booking trips for us. We would thoroughly recommend these appts and would not hesitate to book again.

This was such a beautiful place to stay. We were so surprised at how large and beautiful the apartment was. The place was spotlessly clean and really comfortable. The staff were very friendly and incredibly accommodating. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

Stayed here with my parents and two children. The owners have children themselves and made sure that we had everything we needed. Our flight was delayed and they had popped our Coles online delivery into the cupboards and fridge for us. The accommodation was clean, so so so spacious and I felt reasonably priced. Would 100% stay again.

100% would stay again, we had an amazing stay. The place is spacious, well equipped and comfortable. Even had a couple of Kookaburras come up to the balcony when they smelt our dinner. The staff really nice and helpful, they also gave us a better price when we booked directly as a walk in.

The discount for booking direct with them was way better than what other booking options offered.

The staff were amazing. Gerhardt and his family are so courteous and helpful. My wife had to go to hospital in Cairns by ambulance whilst we were there and they lent me their own vehicle for the afternoon. I was so appreciative.

The grounds are so tranquil, you think you're in a rainforest and the apartments are the most spacious we have ever stayed in.

You won't be disappointed if you stay here.

Nice large units. Slightly dated but as they are nice and large and bright and very clean , it compensates! Lovely hosts very helpful. Great pool.
