You want authentic italian pizza this is the place! And to think it's in the nice little place like palm cove

The service I cannot rate higher! We came here 2 days ago on a whim and have decided to come back again tonight and the first thing i was greeted with was my name ! Amazing to have a place dealing with 100s of people a night to see me two days later to remember my name .

Then to the food ! What a great and delicious meal both times . I cannot fault . Wait I can actually ! That I can't have it more because this is the last night in palm cove 😔 .

Excellence service, friendly and welcoming staff. Pizza was very rich and the dough was perfect. Real Italian pizza.

Came here for our honey moon and went to this place twice on our 4 day stay.
The service we got is so so rare to come across!
The small details were not missed, delicious pizza and quick service. The tiramisu was incredible.
If we do come back here, it's definitely a place we would come to again and recommend to others.

Epic view. Pizzas always excellent. Salads & antipasto always fresh and delicious. Nutella calzone insane. Staff are always fun, friendly bringing the good vibes and great atmosphere. Full disclosure. I work next door and the it smells so good, all the time.

Amazing view and great setup. Nick is was amazing. They looked after us and offered us the special pizza which was absolutely delicious. All the pizzas were freshly made and the staff were really friendly and attentive.

Will definitely come again if we travel to Palm Cove.

You could tell that the ingredients were fresh just by walking past the restaurant. The pizza sauce is first class. You won’t be disappointed.

Really good pizzas. The crust is light and crispy. Service is excellent. And I reckon the tiramisu is the best in Cairns!

Magnificent! Early dinner in il forno pizzeria as the first attempt, beautiful! We had coral sea pizza, succulent prawn and great seasoning. Also the homemade tiramisu, we are planning for our next visit!!!

Called in without a reservation to celebrate my wife's birthday. The staff were wonderful and once they realised the reason for celebrating they all joined in a rendition of "happy birthday"
The food was spectacular. We shared a Pistachio Pizza and a Nutella Calzone.
We also enjoyed a nice bottle of Shiraz and great Long Blacks.
Don't go to Palm Cove without visiting Il Forno. We will certainly be returning.

A special dining experience for us every time we visit Palm Cove - about 10 times now. Love the warm tropical Italian outdoor casual atmosphere - awesome pizza - this time however special treat - requested a good red wine and was recommended a special bottle of Chianti - best I have ever had! Highly recommend - Il Forno you will love it 😉

My partner and I loved our visit to Il Forno. Upon seeing the reviews, we saw that the gluten free base was highly rated and since I’m intolerant, we decided to check it out. It was close to where we were staying, and tucked away whilst still being close to the beach. We really enjoyed our meals, the pizzas were delicious and we shared some wine and salad too. The owner was warm and welcoming and provided a great atmosphere. We weren’t able to stay for the dessert unfortunately, but if we do come back to Cairns we’ll be sure to visit again. :) Thanks again!

My husband and I dined here a couple of nights ago and ate the best pizza we have EVER eaten in our entire lives! We both had a meat lover's pizza - mine was gluten free, his was not gluten free. Both my partner and I independently felt that it was the best pizza we've tasted. The sauce was SO tasty, base was amazing. Incredible!

Oh my gosh this place! Came here last night.
Firstly, the views were beautiful. It is on the second floor of a building but it is easily accessible by walking up the stairs to the village area.
We were pleasantly greeted by a friendly man at the door and guided to our table.
The restaurant was constantly juggling with takeaway orders and dine in, but there isn't a long wait for food.
Our waiter was extremely kind and sweet, and was always smiling which was so lovely. I didn't catch his name but my partner and I loved him!
My partner had an aperol spritz was delicious, refreshing and perfect on a warm night.
We started off food with a garlic pizza, and ooft that went down a treat.
Next we shared a white base porcini pizza. It has mushrooms, mozerella and a few more things and it was delicious!
We also shared a gnocchi that came with a beautiful rich red sauce, and parmesan on the side.
We went all out and shared a nutella calzone, and if you like chocolate I highly recommend this! It is FILLED with nutella and comes with ice cream on the side. Absolutely delicious!
There are plenty of vegetarian options, however they aren't labelled as such on the menu, so I just double checked that what I wanted was indeed vegetarian (ingredients were listed but I always like to be sure). There were also many vegan options! These are labelled as vegan option on the menu, so just have to ask for vegan cheese. Great to see that.

The serving sizes are incredible here, great value for money. The dining area is small but the views are great and the atmosphere is so nice. Such a cute little restaurant.
Highly recommend coming here, it is worth it!

Stopped by Il Forno for a family dinner on Thursday night. The pizza was delicious with an excellent base and great choice of toppings. Staff were friendly and helpful and the outdoor dining area was pleasant. The tiramisu was one of the best I’ve had. Highly recommend stopping by if you are in Palm Cove.

Very fast (5-10 min) take away and good quality pizzas at a reasonable price. Love the traditional base and range of toppings available.

On site parking is available off the esplanade which makes it easier too. Limited seating inside, so I imagine it's a good idea to book ahead if you want to eat in, although it looks like a nice atmosphere & view of the beach.

As a regular fan of Italian food, these guys take the cut. They pride themselves on local ingredients but a traditional Italian feel, and God to they deliver. The atmosphere and service are great, but the meals themselves are worth every dollar. The stand out food choice of Palms Cove. 🌴

Great pizza, great atmosphere and service. We went there twice and the second time we got recommended a pizza and happy we went with the suggestion. Yummy true Italian pizza with a yummy salad and 2 cold beers, perfect 🍻🍕👍
And if u have space try the tirimasu 👍

We got two takeaway pizzas and they were really delicious. Plentiful toppings and great bases. Would be good to try them in the restaurant next time.
