Renmark Visitor Information Centre

We only had a couple days in Renmark but absolutely loved the area. Staff were friendly and fabulous at the Visitors Centre and got a great run down on everything to see and do in Renmark. Lovely river front location too. Hope to make a return trip sometime

Renmark Paringa Visitor Information Centre at Renmark, South Australia

It was our second day of 3-week Central Australia self-drive adventure tour from Melbourne and return.

We stopped by Remmark for our morning tea break. Just next to the Renmark Paringa Visitor Information Centre was a picnic area with benches and chairs, and lustrous green field next to the Murray River.

The staff at the centre were friendly, and were knowledgeable about Remark & Paringa district. The Centre had a huge selection of maps, brochures and travel information, not only for Renmark & Paringa district, but other regional areas.

It also stocked a large range of souvenirs, gifts, and locally grown produce. I could see a paddle steamer "parked" just behind the Centre. The Paddle Steamer Industry ran cruises on the first Sunday of each month.

It was our lucky day, because it was the 30th anniversary of the Outback Car Trek to raise fund for the Royal Flying Doctors, who provide healthcare services in regional, rural and remote communities in Australia.

The 30th Outback Car Trek began in Renmark, and travelled through to Darwin.

What an additional bonus to remember Renmark, South Australia.

Friendly staff with good local knowledge plus the operational vintage steamboat PS Industry is located adjacent and provides a great exhibit.

Just on drive back to Sydney from Streaky Bay and stopped for the night. 10am and we dont want to leave🤣 lovely area, sitting at Renmark Club having brunch

It is beautiful place, food and services wonderful, accomodation very clean , quite and magnificent view. Staff very nice.

Good selection of local items

Staff in here was amazing. Great to have a chat with and find out what's happening. Was greeted with a huge smile which just made the atmosphere light up.

The lady that I seen here on a Saturday morning was amazing! She was very knowledgeable, helpful and friendly. There's some souvenirs available and locally made produce.

Great selection of information for not only the Renmark area but the Riverland and the whole of SA! Very informative staff who have first hand knowledge and experience of the surrounding area. Recommended if it's your first time around as they can really point you to the best attractions and sights to see for the day!
