Great pub for family and nice events. You have to go to the trivia on Tuesday at 7:30 it’s a great time. Everyone is very friendly with dogs running around and great Greek food. Good for family events. A bit pricy but worth it. Amazing barramundi HAVE TO TRY. Also a nice little website to book.

We had a lovely meal here and the vibe was excellent. The staff were friendly and attentive and the food was delicious. Will be back when in Woollahra again

What a great find! Two functions had the place crowded out, but staff went out of their way to make us feel welcome and look after us. Lamb cutlets were superb, and the Greek syrah complemented them perfectly. Will definitely be back to sample some more menu highlights.

Couldn't speak higher of this bar. Amazing food and staff, they are all so friendly. The atmosphere is wonderful for either drinks, and would make for a great date spot. The bar is also dog friendly, so we often come here with the pooch. Amazing Greek styled food, and you must try the tap beer!

The Phoenix is a fabulous local pub , cosy, delicious authentic Greek food, great wine list, service impeccable, fun for a lunch and dinner nothing is too much trouble for the awesome team there.

Most of the staff are excellent, some a bit ‘cool’ as in ‘I’m too cool to be friendly so I’ll just be cool’, (staff much better when Will the owner is around), food good, atmosphere great, no vices, high,y recommended.

We came here for a small celebration without having been here before. It’s the only place open nearby on a Friday afternoon. What a lucky find as we had a wonderful time! Staff were great and super helpful. Venue is lovely and the food was excellent- we will come back for more moussaka!

Great food and wonderful bar service😉This place has so much character. Small, but with plenty of lovely outdoor street dining in a beautiful quiet tree lined street. A real 'local' pub. Nice to see that they're taking all precautions in today's unsettling environment, without spoiling the experience. Thumbs up👍

This place rocks. I'm often hard to feed. As they said, they mightn't do many vegan options but what they do do is fabulous.
And they even do Healthy Cosmos on request.

One of our favourite locals! We regularly dine and drink at The Phoenix, love the atmosphere and the food is DELICIOUS. The owner (think his name is Will..?!) and staff are incredibly friendly and always make us feel very welcomed. Couldn’t recommend this place enough!

We had a fantastic lunch here recently that led to dinner! The fireplace and cosy warm interior is perfect for a winter rainy day. Food was excellent. We had a selection of dishes which we shared. Service was excellent - friendly and efficient and on the ball. As a Paddington resident I will definitely make this a regular spot.

Lovely ambiance with food to match

We visit the Phoenix every couple of weeks or so. The moussaka is to die for! It's the only place I know that serves a moussaka of that quality. The eggplant is caramelised and encrusted on the bottom of the serving dish. Delicious! We usually have the souvlaki too. The salads are very good as well. Do yourself a favour and get down to the Phoenix to get the moussaka because it is a huge change from the usual chicken schnitzels and burgers offered by most other pubs, cafes and restaurants in the vicinity of Paddington/Woollahra.
