Absolutely in love with the Ube Leche Flan Cake from Papa Bear Bakehouse, a homely Filipino bakery in Braybrook serving up the most delicious Filipino baked goods that will sweeten up your day. Soft and fragrant ube cake is topped with a layer of leche flan, and the caramelised sweetness of the flan goes so well with the subtle earthy sweetness of the ube - yum! The Pan De Sal is not to be missed too!

Their empanadas, hopia, cake with flan, pilipit are really good. Great service too from the owner and staff. Easy to talk. Jist recently, I ordered 150 pcs empanadas, they seemed to taste even better. The crust was perfect Appreciat them for contacting me for the 30 min delay. Highly recommend them.

Love this place, always a pleasure to visit. The Yema roll and Yema cake are too good! Pandesal is great also. Need to try the noodle bowl next time.

Impressive!! Ube leche cake is back to the original well loved recipe they used to make it.
Light ube chiffon with just perfect ube flavour, and the leche flan, oh my! Super smooth silky and rich, so yummy, compliments the ube perfectly!!

Papa bear, why did you change your recipe for the ube leche cake??? Whyy??
Cake used to be very light and the the leche used to be silky smooth and light - now, leche is dense and so is the cake.
I don't mind paying more (price jump from $15 to $19 now) but please please bring back the original recipe😭😭😭😭

*Update, I tried their leche flan by itself, OMG papabear, so good!!!! silky smooth texture, almost melt in your mouth, creamy, rich flavor, ikaw na talaga panalo sa leche flan papabear!! Sa halagang $7 sulit na sulit ang leche flan napaka sarap jusmio, hihimatayin ka talaga sa sarap!

Their donuts are super fresh, soft and tasty! Panis yung krispykreme sa freshness ng donuts ni papabear, sana papabear may option na milk powder coating yung donuts, parang awa mo na please?

We always stop here before we head to south Australia. The staff is so kind and the filo too. We love to buy bump pie and egg pie here. They also have different kinds of filos here. Highly recommended if you are in the town. See yah 🫰🤟

Custard Ube cake is a must try. Not too sweet, just enough to satisfy my sweet craving. Yum 😋

It would have to be sunshine / Braybrook little gem. Yes shop is small may not be the cleanest shop. 3 twisted 🍩 for $2 box of them works out even cheaper. Great shop to buy birthday cake 🎂 and lots more. Recommended

Very long wait times especially on the weekend. Best to get in earlier before lunch time, however quality food and good service. 👍🏼 People who make huge orders are priority here and attended to first. Good pricing and delicious ensure to pre-order first but even then you'll need to remind the server in case this wasn't communicated to them the day before. Kind suggestion: Perhaps better communication and organisational with regards to orders and tasks, such as having a list of who ordered what, when and how much and pre-paid or not. This will ensure that orders are attended to in a timely manner.

Staff are always friendly to me. I always come back for kutchinta and ube roll! My husband loves the twisted donut he said it taste like the traditional he used to eat back home.

Very nice place to buy Filipino breads. It could be better if they setup tables, even just two, so customers can enjoy their bread with café style coffee.

Yummy baked goods. I love the hopia so fresh, still hot when we come home. I'll come back again to try the other bread... So delicious

Very good empanadas, reasonable price, pork is excellent. Check opening hours, may be closed Mondays.

Home cooked dishes are great and best mocha cake in the area. N don't forget d other yummy baked goodies too👍👍👍

Papabear do the best catering! We've had almost everything from their range and it's all been the best portion sizes, consistent, fair pricing, and the best tasting!
