Cafe Mandala

This cafe is further walk from Skyrail, I think worth the small walk. Ok
We had the mackerel tacos and coffees.
The Tacos were certainly fresh and well presented. They were not covered in sauces taking away from the grilled fish.
The coffee was nice, I like mine a little stronger, the blend was smooth, not too acidic.
Friendly staff, nice atmosphere and clean.
Do recommend you give them a try.

FOOD.
During our visit to Cairns, my friends and I stumbled upon this cafe after exploring the Kuranda Scenic Railway. The burger I ordered was delicious. You can pair it perfectly with the option of chips or sweet potato chips.

SERVICE.
The service was prompt, and the staff was exceptionally friendly, adding to the positive experience.

PLACE.
The cafe offers a choice between indoor and outdoor seating, providing a nice variety. However, it's worth noting that outdoor dining may be interrupted by flies, affecting the overall enjoyment of the food. Despite this, the good food, quick service, and friendly atmosphere make it a worthwhile stop, especially after a day of exploring Cairns.

Friendly staff, great food and delicious coffee. We had the brunch burger, iced mocha and the kids shared a scrambled eggs. They were so thoughtful we asked for a side plate as the kids were sharing and they put the meal split straight onto two plates to save us the hassle. Great spot.

Came here for lunch after our trip on the SkyRail. I had the fish tacos and my partner had one of the burgers. We both loved our meals. The tacos were absolutely delicious. My parents also enjoyed their food (eggs benedict and ham and cheese toastie). Juices were very good. It was reasonably priced as well, being in a tourist hot spot. Would highly recommend!

Mandala Cafe do excellent dinners Sat-Mon. The menu is good with lots of good choices, and every dish we have tried has been excellent. The Chef is very good as his job. Reasonably priced and good service. Will be going again.

I had the most amazing Eggs Benedict I have ever had. My husband had a Reuben which was also great and tasty. If we are ever back this way we would definitely return.

What a lovely little gem, breakfast burger was and coffee were delicious and staff very friendly. Highly recommend if you’re in the area

There is a nice feel to this place. Staff super friendly.

The cakes looked very fresh . I had the lemon and almond cake with a dollop of cream. Yummy. And they used fresh cream . Not many cafés use fresh cream anymore 😋😋😋😋

Coffee was great.

Plenty of seating outside. Atmosphere is very pleasant.

Lovely easy way to order and pay. Staff are extremely helpful and friendly. Easy way to pay, see the amount of your order, your table number, and not have confusion. Am going again in my visit and will come back when I visit again.

Hot day so we just stopped for an iced coffee. Perfect!
Most were enjoying their breakfast of early lunch when we were there.
We were entertained by some local musos.

Just amazing!
We ordered eggs Benedict with bacon and salmon, 2 juices and a macchiato.
The texture of the pouched eggs was just perfect, the toast were just on the exact crunchy point, the bacon was crispy but not too cooked, the salmon excellent quality and the hollandaise sauce was the most surprising, often is to strong and kills the flavours of this dish, well it wasn't, was simply the best hollandaise sauce I ever tasted!
The juices fresh and super tasty due the quality of the fruit and the macchiato, well Italian quality.
And if was not enough when I left, THANK YOU TO THE CREW!!!
Lovely people that made the experience of eating there even better!

Absolutely love going here. Most favourite place to eat in Kuranda. Everything on the menu is delicious. Currently working my way through their new dinner menu.

Lovely brunch burger and cappuccino, couldn't have had anything better all round from this cafe. Close to the main village and good reading articles as well!

Great pulled pork burger! Drink service was a bit slow, but food service was speedy. Staff were lovely and just a bit under-staffed, I think.

Stopped in here for lunch on a Sunday and although it was busy outside, there was no one sitting inside. Had a BLT with fries and it was very nice... Only took 15 minutes or so to arrive after ordering too. Friendly wait staff.

We rocked up to town around 8am and everything was closed and peaceful. Spoke to a local lady that said most things dont open till 10am
We were lucky to find this place open and it was really nice. Great service, great coffee and the food was fantastic.

Just yummy food and a nice relaxing experience in the heart of Kuranda - we did Skyrail ‘up’ and Train Down and had lunch here. Just a nice quiet and enjoyable stop while you visit Kuranda Cairns Australia.

Great staff who are really helpful with dietary requirements. Chef is amazing. Awesome atmosphere
