Toby's Estate Coffee Roasters

This shop is part of a coffee roasting factory, the layout is very reasonable, located on the street, drinks and prices are very ok. The minus point is that it closes too early, there are 5 minutes left before the end of the hour and the staff refuses to serve the group of guests. I see that their disappointment seems to have gone from afar until receiving the information.

Amazing place to get a coffee! The staff are super friendly, very approachable and knowledgeable about coffee, and they give out great recommendations on coffee beans depending on how you like to have your coffee.

The coffee tastes amazing, there are multiple good food options to have your coffee with, and there’s nice and cozy indoor seating area as well. Great ambiance!

Will definitely be frequenting this one for sure!

The coffees are amazing. I had the single origin coffee from Costa Rica with milk (controversial, I know) but completely underrated. It was creamy, fruity, and naturally sweet. The toasties and sandwiches are also delicious. We had the wagyu beef and pickles, and the smashed avocado on toast, both of which were toasted perfectly. The staff are friendly and very quick. The store has a great modern ambience, and there's a view of the bean roasters out back.

The place is quite nice to have a light brunch with a good quality cup of coffee or hot chocolate. The staff is friendly and attentive. Highly recommend.

I have a huge amount of sentiment for this little shop, having lived next to it, at 40 City Road - more than 15 years ago now! This used to be my go to place to get my hit, coffee of course, but also toasted pumpkin bread with western star butter melting into its caramelized crust, fresh muffins.. Ah, to be that age again, grabbing my breakfast on the way to work, clutching my old school blue Travel Ten card..

After passing by this café countless times, I finally stopped for a chai latte. The drink was warm and delicious, and the atmosphere was great. The staff were very friendly, and I highly recommend this place.

One of Sydney’s best coffee experiences. I love getting a perfect coffee from this place. They have recently changed the aesthetic and function of the shop. It is a really nice feel with the big open table in the middle with the barista standing to the side. Coffee is exceptional.

I came here for the coffee but left having had the world’s best sandwich! I don’t know if something has changed recently but their food game has seriously improved ❤ will absolutely be back again for a sambo and coffee soon.

Wife and I have been wanting to check out the new store and finally got around to it. Did not disappoint. Coffee is awesome as usual (Even bought coffee beans for my home machine) and nice food to suit the coffee too. Lovely team there at Toby's :)

Honestly 5 stars for the coffee alone. Brunch menu may look simple, but you can be assured it’s done to the highest standard. The service was fairly good considering they were under the pump. Would recommend.

Great coffee, helpful staff, delicious food. They have a variety of blends and portions. The staff are more than happy to help you grind the beans prior to purchase.

I think they have the best coffee . It’s always consistent , not too hot and just great aroma .

Great atmosphere, clean, friendly, a modern industrial feel! Great coffee and the food was also really good. You can sit at the bar up the back and view the coffee lab in action. The only downside is the price, which is a little high for a cafe, it's not a cheap eat! Would eat/drink here again. Takeaway coffee and snacks also available

Can’t recall how many times come in just for one coffee. Toby’s estate makes wonderful coffee!! Food might be a little pricy but definitely worth it. Love scrambled egg!!
