Apple Fun Park

Such an awesome playground... not as 'all ages' friendly as Katanning's playground but would love to take children to this one. Beach sand everywhere, green grass and awesome equipment. Toilets well presented and cared for.

The gov did not sponsor this. It's all privately sponsors by the community, residents and private companies.

It's super well maintained, very fine sand, free BBQ pits, water fountain and nice coffees across the road.

This playground is suitable for all ages.

Very very impressed.

Unfortunately, don't think such things will work in SG.

Had an amazing afternoon with my family. Beautiful park with lots of fun for small one. Near by fruit stalls and markets are a sure to stop and have a look at. ♥♥♥

Wow absolutely one of the best park for the kids of all ages. Limited cover and BBQ facility, plenty of parking however. Very well layout this playground. There are different size slides for the kids, mini trampoline. The equipment layout out over 100 metres of the playground. Great way to stop over before heading to and from one destination, best part the little ones really enjoyed it.

Great to visit a park for our grandchildren that is very well looked after and so clean. We drove from Perth specially for the day and enjoyed coffee at the bakery. Good job local council.

Incredible playground for the kids with rest areas for the parents to relax. I believe it’s the biggest free playground in the Southern Hemisphere. A local farmer anonymously made the bulk donation to get this started. A brilliant gesture and fantastic concept. Well worth a day trip to visit.

Totally worth the 2 hour drive from Perth, and the 2021 upgrade is amazing. Fully fenced with adventure and play for all ages and The Park Donnybrook Cafe just a stones throw away. Toilets and BBQs available. Read more in the Kids Around Perth Review here.

This park is incredibly fun. There are many game tools and they are all original. Many toys not found in other parks are available here.

Donnybrook is a must-stop for us for our road trips in WA since 2018 and there’s no better place than Apple Fun Park to let the kids out of the car to expend the pent up energy that they’ve accumulated along the way. While Donnybrook may be thought to be small town to many tourists, this playground is hidden gem that is far more up to date and engaging than those found in larger cities in WA and where we came from (Singapore). Let’s put it this way - most of the adults in our group found ourselves engaged in at least one of the playground activities. We were supposed to do 15-minute pit stops here but they always ended up to be at least 1 to 2 hours.

Nice fun place for kids. Families can easily enjoy picnic and on the way back, you can buy fresh fruits from local farms.

Was one of the more pleasant playgrounds we've been to on this trip. So many things for the kids to do. Loved how inclusive, for young and older kids and for the ones with special needs.

Of course this place is a must when in the Southwest with kids! The upgrade is great but so different when you spent some of your own childhood here!

What an amazing park!!!! It is a park that suits kids with different ages. So many fun slides, train ride, swings etc. It also have under cover tables with BBQ. The park is very clean, not very busy either. We had so much fun playing with our 2-year-old. The only thing is that half of the park is not under shades, so it could be hot and directly under the sun. We loved it!

This park is an awesome place for kids and adults to visit. There are heaps of activities and lots of play ground equipment to have fun with. It is situated just parallel to the Main Street of Donnybrook and very accessible to food shops. The Apple Fun Park is an ideal place to have a picnic with a lot of shaded areas and equipment to cook on. An enjoyable family day out.

Love the space and very good set up with an undercover bbq areas. The shades ober the playground are just amazing. The council has done an amazing job for.

The best free entertainment for kids in the South West. Clean, modern, safe and with lots of great equipment to entertain both young and the young at heart.

Amazing park plenty to do for kids all ages. Lots of shade too. Definitely worth stopping in we will be back next time we in donnybrook. Kids had a ball
