We have been going to the Palace Hotel for many many years now. Yesterday we celebrated a long time friends 60th Birthday on the verandah at the restaurant. The service and food were great. A special shout out to the three young ladies that were serving us. Their attitude and smiling face are what service is all about, thank you so much and to Bill Young the Publican.
These young ladies are a credit to your brand.
Thank You

I visited this pub on the weekend and the food was excellent. I ordered the gnocchi and couldn't fault it. The atmosphere of the pub is great. There's a nice outdoor area at the back, perfect for a sunny afternoon. Keen to visit again soon.

Amazing menu options and delicious fresh food on offer at this local landmark. Love the atmosphere after renovations.

The food was well cooked, well presented and fresh. This place has the best vegetable burgers - wonderful patty with crispy edges, tasty chutney and generous serve of haloumi on a fresh bun. Others in our group had the salmon and the gnocci and were also impressed. Not bad value either and the service was pleasant and efficient on a fairly busy evening. The tables are also comfortably well spaced.

Great locals pub with lots of different spaces to enjoy a beer, grab a meal, or meet up with friends and family. Good selection if beers on tap.

10/10 everyone and everything was amazing. Rooms are nothing much to look at like broken blinds and painted door window latch is stuck in ever room so you hear others and the floor is loud. The managers were top preference, kind and friendly while allways being helpful at every point in the day. Definitely will come back 😁

We had lunch, battered fish and chips. A big elegant stack, with salad. Beautifully cooked and presented. Excellent place to lunch at and a lovely outdoor experience, with birds visiting.

I used to work in Mortlake 50 years ago, I wanted to see the various changes, I was overwhelmed with what I saw. The Palace Hotel used to be our drinking place, what a fabulous transformation they have done to the place, the food and service was excellent as well.

This is a neighbourhood gem! Friendly service, good selection of beer and a pub like feel. The steaks are awesome, well cooked to order and taste spectacular. The other food items are excellent pub staples that are done very well. COVID safe too

Great suburban pub tucked away as a discovery venue. Lucky locals. We were fortunate enough to experience their brand new menu and no complaints from anyone on our table, that's for sure.

Hats off to the staff for managing the change without a hitch, as far as I could tell.

Was our local for a couple of years and has that great traditional pub feel. Lots of real characters, tile walls, cold beer on tap. Really good value old school pub meals and is a great place for a few beers and a punt on the horses on Saturday

Fantastic pub. Nice decor and clean inside with really really great food. They have large screens for sport viewing, a bistro inside for private sit down dining, you can eat in the bar too though, as well as a a more relaxed outdoor garden terrace. Brilliant.

This my local as I only live 500 metres away, so I love it.

Friendly staff and nice atmosphere, on Fridays they put on a free sausage sizzle, which is pretty good (although I don't partake, I know it's a win among the patrons)
The acoustics are really bad in there. You can hear the conversations from tables four over but not the person sitting next to you. I always opt to sit outside because of this reason.

Good range of tasty simple and gourmet menu items priced accordingly. Comfortable deck dining. Fine hotel bar, even if they had trouble finding the brandy. Waitresses are cute.
