People who love Asian culture, gather here. It's a wonderful atmosphere. It's a small place but perfect for those who want to explore Asians and Asian cuisine. There are hardly any halal options, unfortunately. I hope they'll expand their menu

Great food court with a wide variety of Asian food, skewers were everywhere and offal soup was a highlight. Best not to go in large groups but 3-4 is optimal. Lively vibe about the place and a great atmosphere!

Love this place. Always busy, especially at night. Such a great variety of different food. It gives out such a great vibe, neon lights, restaurants, and food trucks. It almost feels like you're in another part of the world.

My new favourite place in Sydney. Only about 20-25 minutes on the train from Central. Went on a regular Thursday night and was quite busy. Can imagine this place being packed on the weekends and summer days. Huge variety of Asian food. Popular on the night I went were the places that were selling bbq skewers. Recommend the lamb with cumin. This was just over $12 for 5. Also got takeaway Taiwanese Bento box- large serve of rice with three side dishes for a very reasonable $15. Sometimes a bit of a wait for food but worth it and it was actually very efficient considering the number of ppl. There are two levels and also an outdoor area/beer garden at the back. What a great place for the locals! Did not have enough stomach space to try everything I wanted. Will be back!

Incredible atmosphere, replicating the bustling food streets of China and Southeast Asia. Lots of food options and cuisines from different parts of China or Southeast Asia. Taste is good and food seems authentic. Can be crowded during meal times.

The atmosphere was really nice filled with lots of vibrant lights. There were many good options to choose from with a variety of Asian foods ranging from classic Chinese food to Indonesian food and Japanese food.

It’s always so crowded in here on a Friday and Saturday evening! However, you find amazing delicious food in here and drinks!

Must try the chicken feet located on the ground floor. It’s a small store that sell different flavoured chicken feet! 5/5 - for their steamed and deep fry chicken feet!

No.1 Malatang downstairs: 4/5! Worth a try! You go in and pick out your ingredients into your bowl. They will weigh your bowl while you choose your choice of broth and level of spice. It’s like hot pot but it’s in your own bowl. Highly recommend to try!

Sugar cane drink upstairs 4/5. They have different flavour sugarcane drinks to choose from. They have normal sugar cane, sugar cane with watermelon, sugar cane with lemon, with orange, with strawberry and with pineapple. Highly recommend the sugar cane with watermelon! Very refreshing! However, the pricing for it is quite dear.

Skewers upstairs: 4/5! You go and choose your choose of protein, vegetable skewers and you go to the front counter and tell them how you want it to be cooked and your choice of spice level. Highly recommend to try it out!

There are other lots of great stores to try! Highly recommend to come early before dinner time to avoid long waits and lines!

This is the first time I’ve been here and I feel like I’ve completely missed out.

I was in awe just walking through the entrance. I felt like I was transported to another place. A haven of Asian cuisines and the ambiance was electric. The neon lights, hyped music mixed with the busy bustling noise, it all fit together perfectly.

It doesn’t hurt that everything we ate was delicious. From the cute desserts to the perfectly marinated and spiced skewers. The sugar cane drinks to the noodles and crispy chicken, all the flavours were Devine.

I want to try all the stalls. Yes we are definitely coming back here!

Only downfall is the air conditioning. Considering how much people come to this venue, I found it stuffy and warm at times. I’m hoping it’s not a daily thing as it’s good to have proper ventilation especially when it’s HOT outside.

My boys still gave it 5 stars, of course they did!

Great place for food, drinks, lights, and vibe. The fried skewers places were dope. The sugercane juice shop was my favorite. There are too many things to eat and drink in one day, so will be back to try more. However, those candied fruit store is a shame. Total waste of money to eat warm fruits coated in sugar syrup.

Very pretty inside. Lots of food option. My fav are the Lian pi and the sticky tofu. Plenty of toilets. Just need to be cleaner .

I love Chinatown. As a Burwood local since childhood, I'm very proud to see how well they managed to upgrade the place. I remember back in the early 2000's when I was a kid in primary school, it was an old dingy arcade with shoe repair shops, old fashioned barber shops, dirty floors & a subway out the front.

Chinatown looks so good & I feel so happy going there now. The atmosphere is amazing & you really feel like you're overseas. All I'll say is that upstairs really needs air conditioning in summer.

Huge variety of fried, grilled, baked, food options, meats, seafoods, veges, breads, dairy. Lots of desserts too. Only complaint is the lack of halal food; lots of pork and difficult to cater for vegetarians, vegans and Muslims.

Absolute pandemonium and busy and noisy and garish - which makes it epic amounts of fun, with heaps of little places to explore all sorts of Asian food. Make sure you try the pancakes in the market area! Can't recommend this place enough.

We had a quick walk through after Mother's Day dinner despite the wet weather the place was buzzing with street food vendors firing all the food stalls. We were pleasantly surprised as we didn’t realise it was there as it was a few years ago there was only a neon robot there. We'll return for the street food the next chance we get.

If you're hungry, this is the place to be. So many food to choose from. You can grab and go or find a spot to sit in. They have everything from snacks to meals to desserts. This place could get really busy and crowded. Not a place for a quiet dine in.

Very cool place with lots of Asian street food options! It was a pleasure to see all of the neon lights inside and try out some yum food. Tried food at Oden, machi machi and yakitori. It maybe hard to find many vegetarian options but there are definitely some like fried tofu, reddish and Tamago at Oden.

Very crowded at night but awesome place to hang around. Lots of food stalls and things to try. A shame a few of the stores aren't open and are closed down in such a busy area.

Really like the atmosphere. So many food choices. Will have to do a few separate trips so we can try all food stalls.
