Older Asian gentleman who served me earlier this week was so lovely and as I was on a hunt for an adaptor for my Nepali friend and couldn't find it anywhere in supermarkets, I thought I'd stop here. The man went through baskets of various adaptors until he found the right one. Honestly it was like a treasure hunt and you don't know what you expect to find, I honestly prefer newsagencies with unique knick knacks rather than the brand new carbon copies you find everywhere today

The proprietor was SO friendly on the phone today when I rang up to reserve a copy of the Italian newspaper La Fiamma on Monday and Thursday next week! I haven't even visited the shop yet (as I don't live in Sydney), but, judging by the phone conversation, I am looking forward to my visit :)
