Literally THE BEST FOOD!
Tandori Express is filled with loving and caring staff. They are extremely kind and the food is insanely good.
We had the butter chicken, chicken dopiaza and garlic naan.
Seriously could not recommend this place more. If im in Newtown this is where im eating.

The food and service was very nice. We tried the Palak paneer, Tandoori Chicken, Kashmiri Chicken Tikka with rice. It was so full of flavours. Definitely a reccomendation to everyone. Dont miss out yall

Just bought a takeaway dinner from here this evening. The lady at the counter was so sweet and patient as I asked about the different dishes, and I can say this was hands down the best tandoori chicken wrap I've ever had. The portions are generous and it's good value for money.

I came here a few months back, a place selected by my friends. I usually avoid Indian food due to the spices however I really enjoyed the food at this place. I ordered the mango chicken. It was sweet, hearty and filling. I didn't even need to order any rice with it. The service was quite pleasant which enabled us to enjoy the rest of our evening.

Very friendly staff. The food was so delicious and tasty. The meat in the entrees meat platter was so tender and flavoursome. Plenty of seat.

Good value and tasty Indian introduced to me and endorsed by an English friend who loves a curry. He and his English friends agree, one of the better indian restaurants in sydney.

The best Indian restaurant around food is good restaurant is clean prices are reasonable and staff are nice and friendly

Its taken me 20 years of living in Australia to find a curry that's anything close to my home town of Bradford, UK.

Mango pickle was sensational
Mixed starter spot on and very generous serving
The beef vindaloo (hot) was as good if not better than (I know I've said it) than an English Indian curry

WOW! Give it a go for yourself!
I've always walked past this place and never been that bothered by trying it with its relatively ordinary interior.
However the other day I tried it from Deliveroo as it had high ratings and quick service. I can tell you it did not disappoint!
The curry was so spicy and flavoursome, the naan was huge and it all came super hot, ready to eat 😋.
I can't wait to try more of their dishes!

The best Indian in town. You can actually taste the herbs. It's rich. The meat is always tender. The portion sizes are generous and you can choose your spice amount ... best Indian in the inner west.. maybe even Sydney

I always get the butter chicken and rice. It's only 9.90 takeaway for a decent size and it is amazing every single time. Couldn't put a fault on these guys. Very friendly and let us try different ones as I do not have much experience with Indian food. Definitely recommend!

What a little gem ! The place didn't have a spare seat in the house, with the amazing staff and chef servicing the diners, takeaways and online food orders seamlessly. Very impressive for a Tuesday night ! Don't be fooled by the Bain-marie's. The sit down menu is very comprehensive, with some classic favorites to satisfy The Curry Club's British appetite. Well worth a visit if in Newtown !

Great curry and entrees. More like the style of ones I used to get in the UK. Beef vindaloo packs a real punch, so take a few Kingfishers with you. Friendly staff, great location, but could do with some music to complete the atmosphere. Not as cheap as some of the Indian's you will find further up King St, but it's made to order and tastes better, probably reflected in the superior ingredients.

AMAZING VEGETARIAN DISHES. Large servings and plenty of gluten free options. I’ve ordered from this place too many times to count and have never been disappointed, the taste and quality is consistently fantastic.
