Molonglo Reach

It is one of the most easiest places to launch a kayak or stand-up paddleboard from. Calm flat water that is not too deep, nor have much in the way of submerged obstacles. Nicely shaded, with. BBQ and a couple of picnic tables. Very family friendly. Highly recommended.

It's very beautiful view and many people ride bicycles here. It's very comfortable to relax.

This is a small little community park that has a parking lot, toilets and a little Beach area with sand. Very easy to put a kayak or canoe in the water which leads you out to Lake Burley Griffin. A very nice paddle where you will pass several birds ducks and even a cow pasture. And if you would enjoy seeing Kingston from the waterside, you can make your way under the bridges for a spectacular view. Cyclist can also enjoy the bike path. If you want a peaceful little getaway, this is the place to go.

There are plenty of places to park and access the river. Cycling and walking tracks lead you into the city and around lake burley griffin. You can explore the molonglo river toward queenbeyan or paddle into the city.

Lovely park beside the river - big trees, nice grass, waterbirds - and the river is excellent for a paddle. People fish here too
