Mehfil Indian Restaurant

My friends and family have been raving about this restaurant for some time. We finally went and were delighted. If you like fine dining and the little extra attention to detail in your cuisine, lovely atmosphere, high quality service and A+ food you'll be happy to try as we were. Definitely will be returning. Loved that restaurant wasn't overly noisy too.

Complimentary papadoms were crispy and yummy. Butter chicken was tasty with succulent chicken pieces and a sweet curry sauce. Lamb biryani is flavoursome but on the spicy side however comes with a refreshing yogurt. The mango lassi was sweet and tangy which tasted good however not thick enough in consistency. The cheese garlic naan was hot fresh and tasty, one of the best I’ve had.

The highlight was the service. The waiter was very friendly and helpful with recommendations. He checked in through the meal to ensure everything was ok.

Will be back to try more dishes

Lovely little restaurant. Seating is a bit squeezy but everything else made up for it. Food was delicious and the service fantastic. Even noticed that it was my birthday and wished me happy birthday on leaving. Held the door for our hobbling injured family and 95 yr old father in law. Nice touch. Thanks. 👍😊

New décor is absolutely stunning, very bright. Food and service was amazing, must try place for Indian curry lovers. will be back.

Amazing food! We thoroughly enjoyed the veg food we ordered. Great veg selection. The staff were warm and friendly. We were there with two mischieveous kids, and the staff were happy to chat and joke around with them! Thoroughly appreciated the ability to draw on the tablecloths. Would highly recommend!

Our regular takeaway. Staff are always so friendly and timely with out orders. They have the best and cheesiest naan, and their korma is deliciously creamy. Best Indian on the North Shore.

We went for an early dinner with two hungry and a little unruly boys. The staff were very accommodating and understanding, they kept the boys entertained with the white paper tablecloth to draw on and jokes and chats. The food came very quickly too which is always a win with kids.
The food was also delicious, kept it only a little spicy for the kids, and still full flavour. They have all the vegetarian staples and plenty of vegan options too. The meal perked us all up after a long day of travel. Will definitely visit again.

I recently moved to the area and so glad I found this place. They seem to have been here for a long time and are very well known by the local community. Majority of customers were all regulars. Highly recommend 👌🏽

Visited Mehfil for the first time - how have we not discovered this place before now?!?! Good quality food with really nice flavours. The kids enjoyed it very much. The waiter was very hospitable, great with the kids, etc. We will be back soon and hopefully often! Highly recommend. 👍

Great rich flavours. Recommend the methi chicken. Spicy option comes quite spicy especially on the lamb gosht!!! Punjabi Dahl a definite winner, would recommend. Meal was just what you want from a solid Indian restaurant.

Best butter chicken I have ever had

The food here is amazing. Absolutely amazing. The customer service is good. They know how to attract customer service as compared to the Chinese restaurant(Noodle City) right oppose to them across the highway, who have poor customer service. If you are hungry, definitely go for this Indian restaurant option. Definitely a good place to dine, I totally recommend it. They are not a rip off unlike Noodle City.

Met some old friends here as it's half-way between us. Really didn't expect much but I was SO wrong!

Some of the best Indian food I have had in 20years no . Great service, really freindly staff, the owner was serving alongside them and they all stayed while we were the last customers to leave - no hassle or pressure to eat-pay-leave.

Freshest food, not greasy at all, very flavour-ful. Everything was perfectly balanced with a host of flavours and none of that typical 'kill 'em with chillies and days old ghee - low cost Indian fallbacks.

We will definitely go there again for our next Indian - bit of a trip past a million Indians from the CBD to Gordon but so well worth the effort. I'm writing this the morning after and would happily go straight back there for lunch.
