Twice we’ve been here and twice we’ve ordered the same dishes!

My husband loves their laksa here. He tried their chicken curry laksa and hainanese chicken laksa! He loves both but prefer their hainanese chicken laksa! He rated 5/5 stars for the laksa. One of the best in campsie, the broth and spice is a punch for him!

I ordered their house chilli chicken Lasi Mak and wow! One of the best lasi mak I’ve tried! I love love their fried chicken! I asked if they can do mild, and they said they will seperate the chilli sauce from the chicken for me! Their fried chicken is very crunchy and when you dip it into their house special chilli sauce - oh wow! I’m always craving for it! 5/5 stars for me as well!

Customer service here is tops! Been here twice during busy time and the waitresses are super friendly and fast!

Highly recommend this place!

Good, price range is less than 18 per dish averagely with generous serving.
We ordered yee mee in dark soy and ckt. Ckt took a bit of time but maybe coz I asked for everything to be fully cooked.
Ckt noodle is still in tack overall and glossy. Yum! Brought me back to hawker food days.
Both noodles came piping hot, as expected. Satisfied~ will come back to try something else.

Overall: 6/7
A very nice Malaysian restaurant a bit out of the way from the main Campsie food strip. The service is expectedly quite mediocre so patience is required.

Wings & Shrimp Paste: 5/7
Pretty average wings, good number for the price though. Cooked well, just not a fan of the shrimp paste

Laksa & Homemade Tofu: 7/7
Two types of well cooked noodles in a very flavourful soup. Good ratio of soup to noodles. The tofu was very unique and tasty, unique texture. Appreciated that it was served on a separate plate. Highly recommend.

Fermented bean curd, pork belly noodle: 6/7
Not quite sure what this was but tasted good. The pork belly at this place I think is generally very well done. In this dish it was fried extremely well. Noodles are kind of whatever.

I had a craving for laksa and Malaysia Small Chilli in Campsie more than satisfied it. Such good value for such a large portion. The broth was deep and rich in flavour. My favourite laksa in Sydney so far. We also ordered the Hainanese chicken for our toddler and he loved it as well as the char kway teow which had lovely wok hei and pork fat bits. Beautiful authentic Malaysian food. We’ll be back to try more

*Update 04/05/23*
Still 5 stars 🤩 We came back and tried the Hainanese chicken w rice as well as the char kway teow. I really enjoyed the slippery texture of the chicken, ginger shallot sweet chilli sauce paired with soup and rice. My boyfriend pointed out that the rice appeared to be a bit old as it was slightly slimy?? The char kway teow was yummy too especially with the chilli sambal. Keen to come back and try more.

The Malaysian food seemed authentic and was delicious 😋 We really loved the spicy laksa soup base and it came with a lovely assortment of seafood!! A side of chilli sambal was a must with the egg gravy. Large portion sizes was a big plus! The only negative was the milk tea which had a weak tea flavour/ watered down and not sweet either.

Beautiful authentic Malaysia food.
All the dishes are so tasty and have good flavour. Nice and friendly staff and owner(I assume he is the owner).

Love this place and will come back without kids. They can not eat spicy food.

This restaurant is 100% Malaysian original culinary. I was 10 years in Singapore and regularly visited KL and JB to enjoy food. I’m so happy there is a Malaysian restaurant 6mins drive from my place. The staff were all nice and the place is clean. Going back there now with family for dinner.

Just like being back in Malaysia! Walking in and you will be "greeted" by a Marysia flag right in front of the entrance. We were pleasantly welcome and sat down. The menu was already on the table. It offers a wide range of Malaysian classic food, laksa, noodles , fish head curry etc

The Decor is very similar to what you find in Malaysia , chopsticks and cutlery with tissue box etc.

Friendly staff came and took our orders and advised us on house specials.

And we were delighted with the taste and size, they were awesome. Size of serves were generous and it actually tasted like what you find whilst in Malaysia.

The bill came and we were pleasantly surprised and happy.

Will be back.

One of the best laksa in Sydney. Very deep and rich flavour. I got the seafood laksa and all the seafoods were fresh and the portion sizes were very big.

Portions are generous both eat in and takeaway, my faves are 36. Flat rice noodles with gravy and their signature tofu which is stuffed and lightly fried with sweet chilli sauce. The restaurant seating area is clean and quite spacious but discreetly hidden from the shopfront view. The place was absolutely bustling on a Friday night, and with a full house it can get quite noisy and echoey in the restaurant.

Food portion - above average
Price - $30 for 2 pax
Staff - quick and friendly
Cleanliness - good
Ambience - basic paint only, still new restaurant?

Very authentic taste. Best wat tan yinyang in Sydney. Will definitely come back to try their other food.

Very warm and welcoming food establishment. It was our second visit (and NOT going to be our last). Will definitely come here again.

We ordered the char kueh tiaw and hor fun and prawn paste chicken wings.

The staff was so accommodating to requests and extremely courteous. I was casually making a fleeting comment to my husband about wanting to sit at the booth when it was still occupied and eventually when the booth was empty, the staff immediately mentioned to me I can sit there if I wanted to.

This is why I then realized the great care for the customers is there. I really appreciate this!

During peak hours, it could be a tad hectic but it’s worth the wait.

The staff has good communication between customers, too. Which is fantastic.

Please keep up the good work. I highly recommend to have your Malaysian food fix here. Prices are affordable and the warm Malaysian hospitality is evident here. It’s a very humble restaurant, makes you feel like you’re back in Malaysia.

If you love Malaysian food, this is a place to recommend. The fish head City soup and King prawn with a crunchy coating plus many other authentic noodle dishes were better than expected.
