Australia Post - Dulwich Hill LPO

Great service with experienced staff. I got all things done within 2 mins.
Funny thing is I walked to Marrickville Post Office first. Exactly the same enquiry, nothing got done there.
These two post offices are on the same road, 15 mins walk apart. Choose Dulwich Hill Post Office if you can.

I’d like to express my thanks and appreciation for the team at Dulwich Hill Post Office and their brilliant customer service, professional and patient staff. Always a pleasure dealing with staff, especially since new management took over, and most especially my experience on Saturday 25 September 2021. Well done to the staff who managed a huge volume of customers in a positive, calm and helpful manner. The ability to pick up parcels on a Saturday is greatly appreciated, especially for people who don’t have the option to work from home, and online shopping is the one bright spark in the middle of a pandemic. Thank you for your efforts and great work.

I don't usually rate post offices, but I would like to make an exemption for this one. It's the best Post Office in Sydney! The staff is super quick, professional and friendly. If you guys read it - many thanks for your service and please, keep up doing a great job!

A little update from 2022: Even though I have moved to a different area, when I needed passport photos for my 1.5 yo baby, I knew I should come here to be able to get the best service. As always, staff were super friendly and extremely patient with the baby. We had to try a few times, but in the end we got the job done. Thanks a lot for your patience :)

I'm a wheelchair user and get carded all the time by people who don't even bother to ring the bell. Cue parcel pickups. The lack of parcel organisation is more a result of the couriers not aligning documentation with parcels, according to both the old and new owners, and the current 'postie' is amazing - takes parcels to the door for anyone with mobility issues and so a few older people don't have to go to their post box - especially if they're struggling with age-related memory issues.

The old owners - 3-4* for me - all post offices seem slow and the poor jokes and flat humour wasn't really a problem - the younger staff were friendly and the older staff too, most days. The flip side is that the new owners are clearly friendly AND helpful AND accommodating, keep the queue moving faster and don't making a customer service about the service provider.

Maybe a bit of 'flavour' of being a Dully local has been lost, however as it was occasionally a slightly racist one, I'm not unhappy overall!

Dulwich Hill Post Office is now being run by Vanessa and Sozo and what an amazing job they are doing. The place is spotless, service gold star and the new card selection better than anywhere else in the Inner West! There is always a welcoming smile and they are doing a great job at remembering their customer's names as well!

The whole team is super friendly. I get lots of parcels and nothing is too much trouble. It makes the world of difference. I remember a time a few years ago now, when I'd head into this post office with trepidation as everyone running it was grumpy and miserable. Not anymore.

We just love this little Post Office...............staff always friendly, professional, knowledgeable and helpful. It has the character similar to that of a country town.....lets say, like Grafton without the Jacaranda's but other great bits and pieces to purchase.

Daughter was extra clingy while trying to post so they filled out all the details for me. Very lovely first experience at my new local post office and couldn't be happier to have them around the corner.

Every time I come here the staff are super friendly and will do their best to be helpful. If it's quiet you get a longer chat! A really nice neighbourhood post office service.

Fast and efficient service of posting bulky 9kg package.
On a previous occasion, about five months ago, just before closing time on Saturday, a more complex ID confirmation service that included filling of paper forms, on-line filling and photographing was performed by the same lady - a role model customer service person despite a long queue in the background.

Wow! A refreshing change. Been a local for almost 20 years, and with New Owners the Service has skyrocketed. Normally when you say New Owners you say oh oh.. not in this case. Reviews until end 2016 are irrelevant for the new owners. I challenge all those that rated it poorly to experience it again and see how drastically it has improved.

New owners are a gem! Warm, friendly, they provide advice to benefit YOU not them first. Just good honest people. Such a dramatic change from the previous owner. Well done guys :)

I'm just going to chime in with the choir and remark how radical the change has been since the new owners took over. I no longer dread going to the LPO in Dulwich Hill. Noticeably the old staff that are still on have also changed their demeanour and become more friendly and motivated to offer good service, which just shows how important good leadership is.

The post office is under new management, THEY ARE FANTASTIC, I had a complex passport matter, they greatly helped me with the matter and really went out and beyond their standard duties, THANKS!!

Such a lovely local family is now running this post office. They are knowledgable, extremely helpful, beyond what may be required by Australia Post - nothing is too much trouble - and so friendly. It is now a pleasure to visit the post office

Change of management. Post office looks neat and nice not tired like before. Friendly service. The new management is a great addition and fit in well with the community.

I'm very happy with the service at the Dulwich Hill office, the guy with the black hair is very friendly and always helps me with the boxes if they are heavy. The whole team is professional, warm and friendly.

Hard to believe a place can change so much in a short time! Friendly and efficient service, a clean PO Box area, and no attitude! It's now a pleasure to come here, as opposed to the traumatic experience it once was. Thanks guys - keep up the good work!

I’ve had to go in weekly for different items and forms. Each time I received the best customer service I have ever received in Australia. Not only that, but they remember their customers and are really friendly and welcoming.
