Thievery - Chicken & Charcoal

Another restaurant, another perfect scored. I hadn’t heard much about this place actually. Not sure why. It deserves to be far more we’ll known. The food was absolutely incredible all while being incredibly well priced.
Alright, alright.. seems strange, but get the burnt butter hummus. Bruh *drool*. Also, who doesn’t love some LFC.

Was in Sydney for 3 days and tried their brunch feast. It was easily the best meal I've had during my trip. The hummus with burnt butter was awesome, the raw yellow fin tuna dish was light and refreshing, even the raw beef dish was nice and goes really well with their warm Lebanese bread. My only complaint was that the portion for their Lebanese Fried Chicken was so small, I mean two strips for two people??? It was great with the black garlic sauce I could eat 6 on my own. The portion of the rest of their dishes were fine I just think two chunks of chicken is a bit disappointing.

This place takes your usual dips and share plates to another level. Firstly the portion sizes are actually designed for sharing, and you may even be able to take some home! Secondly the unique flavours they add to traditional plates is next level.

If you haven’t been there in a while they have removed the high tables and stools downstairs which makes for a much more comfortable experience.

Greats spot for a small group but better for dates or one on one catch ups!

We walked past this place by chance and decided to go in because it looked busy. The food was fantastic. Baba ganoush was next level! And the LFC (Lebanese Fried Chicken) was quite possibly the best chicken I've ever had. Ended with the fig cheesecake. Superb! And to top it off our waitress was down to earth and made sure we had a great night. Definitely recommended.

Went to try the brunch menu with mates - was delicious. Not the standard Nutella pancakes and eggs Benny if that's what you were hoping for but this delicious injection of middle eastern flavours into breakfast.

Fantastic food, relaxed environment with a nice vibe and great service. Popped in on a whim, not 100% sure what to expect and was pleasantly surprised...will be back! If you haven’t been....GO!

Awesome food and service that is out of this world. Great gluten free options and even ensures the banquet was serviced quickly as we had a concert to attend. Highly rated!!!

Came here for the Mediterranean Yum Cha and was not disappointed! The flavours were interestingly delicious, and there was fun, yet balanced textures throughout the degustation. Cocktails were delicious and pretty potent.

Service was amazing and the staff were really friendly and knowledgeable. Ambience of the place was cool. Definitely coming back to try their usual menu!

Great little modern restaurant and bar. Recommend any of the cheese dishes, and falafel salad!! Good for a larger booking.

Unreal food, the chicken and chips was incredibly good! The service was fantastic, amazing atmosphere and check out the artwork up the stairs.

Absolutely love this place!! One of my Sydney favourites. Such beautiful food, cool decor and music. Can't get enough of the smokey smell in there. The modern Lebanese with a twist is inspired, some really deliciously unique dishes to be had. Loved the mozzarella dish, the fish and the lamb were cooked perfectly. Great vegetarian and meat options including feast menus!! Inspired cocktails... Oh and an amazing little balcony.

The food was Fresh and authentic! We ordered the saturday lunch banquet which gave a good spectrum of their menu. The service was quite quick also. Music playlist was old school RnB which is right up my alley.

Very creative dishes. Been here twice loved all the dishes. It's more of an upscale version of authentic lebanese food (westernised).

We haven't been here in over a year, but the food is incredible. The guys working were so genuinely friendly. Would recommend the espresso martini with Hennessey 😊

The roast pumpkin was phenomenal, as was the hummus. Highly recommend.

Personal fave for their fried chicken which is properly brined, and they use thigh so it's chicken that actually tastes like chicken, and is extra juicy. They have created options for delivery that are special and extra comforting but unpretentious. Absolute legends. Have had dinner and brunch here when they were open and loved it every time. The dishes are creative and modern but with respect for what makes the original dish great. Never too fussy, but always still a treat ❤❤❤

Loved the hummus and the presentation of the flag bread in paper bags
..the pickes are great along with the baked cauliflower & cashews the octopus is divine and the list goes on!

5 stars all round! Had my birthday here and we hired the upstairs area. Jordan and Josh took care of everything we need from A-Z. Super generous and easy to work with, would definitely recommend hosting an event here.
Both these guys are an asset to the restaurant and hope to see them running their own places soon!

The burnt butter hummus is worth the hype. So good.
We also had the roast chicken - it was super juicy and well seasoned.
The kitchen even did us a solid and sent out a cheese pizza to appease our spice-challenged toddler. It may have been spice free but it sure wasn't taste free. There was enough roast garlic in that red sauce to inoculate my kid against vampires for the rest of his days. If he wasn't my first born child I'd have pushed him out of the way to scoff that cheese pizza myself. I didn't, though. I'm not a monster.
Seriously though... Delicious food. A1 service. Bangin' playlist. What more could you want?

Can not say how much I love this place, the food is theatre and so delicious! Like a flavour explosion
