Xi'an Eatery 西安诱惑

Delicious biang biang noodles and such good service! We had the spinach biang biang noodles and braised chicken noodles both had nicely bouncy noodle textures. The celery in the biang biang mixed so so well. There was just one waitress working on a busy friday night and she was so friendly and kept helping people by giving advice how to eat and mix the noodles. The fresh juice here too is so good to cut the spice!

I found this place from a non- social media review and thought we will give it a try. It is situated 300m from Burwood station, passing the Burwood Chinatown on the way up there. It was a fairly busy place. 80% full which is great for a Sunday and being further away from the main area.
We ordered their signature Biang Biang noodle with pork, and the Spinach Biang Biang noodle, both with chilli. We also ordered the lamb skewer as entree and a beer. The skewers were so flavoursome and had just the perfect texture. Their noodles are simply exceptional. Perfect texture, nice chewiness, and the sauce at the bottom of the bowl - slightly vinegary and salty - it was perfect for the thick heavy set noodles. It made them taste less heavy and just so delicious. I recommend to have it with chilli if you can take a bit of spice - it’s not that hot to be honest. Wow - what a nice meal. I look forward to try their other offering next time. Staff members were super friendly by the way, and the place is nice and clean. Highly recommended.

Great little restaurant! The biang biang noodles and watermelon juice are delicious. The staff are very friendly and happy to cater to dietary requirements (e.g., vegan).

There was a time in my life where I didn't know this place existed. Then I was awoken from my deep slumber, my eyes forced open at the true life. The life of Biang Biang Noodles. Now all I have is noodles. My wife and children have left me, I've lost my job; all because of Biang Biang noodle. Come join me in Biang Biang noodle.

This place is fantastic. The lamb soup reminded me of my trip to Xi’an and the roujiamo was delicious. What a great meal on lunar NYE.

Really enjoyed their signature noodles. Very good vegetarian options. COVID-safe establishment. Fast service and clean tables/chairs. Prices are reasonable too. Would come again to try other parts of their menu!

Great restaurant for biang biang noodles which is a thick flat rice noodle with various toppings such as egg, pork, chilli, chives etc. So much flavour in all their dishes especially the stir fried beef with cumin. Gets quite busy during dinner time so be prepared to wait

Wow! What a noodle experience. We got both the biang biang, which were quite similar. Although I did find the spinach green noodles to have a better flavoured sauce with more garnishes. While the plain white were more simple in their flavour.
Vegetable dumplings were also super tasty. A great place to visit as a veggo!!!

I cannot say enough how much I love Xian Eatery. I’ve been to Xian Eatery at least 10-15 times in the last year, and it’s by far my most frequented restaurant. I’m vegetarian and the staff are very helpful and accommodating to my dietary requirements – I highly recommend the biang biang noodles (especially the thick noodles), just ask for no pork. They are so satisfying and chewy and have the richest flavour, and the portion is massive. I also highly recommend the hand-made chilli noodles, and the mapo tofu which can be made vegetarian if you ask for no pork. For drinks, the ice tea is really refreshing and made in-house, a perfect balance of fruity and sweet.

I think it would be great if Xian could mark on their menu which dishes are vegetarian/vegan or have the option of being made vegetarian. Also would love to see the addition of hot tea (maybe jasmine) on the menu one day.

I was craving a roujiamo all morning and was completely satisfied after having some from Xi'an Eatery. I prefer mine spicy so loved the beef one, the pork one was also really good (especially I added some of their chilli sauce on it). The mo is crispy on the outside and the filling is meaty and flavorful. Would recommend adding coriander (although there is an extra surcharge). We didn't try the other items, but I'll definitely be back to try them.

Amazing food. The xi’an signature noodle is the thickest noodle you will of seen in your life.

Had the handmade spinach noodles with pork. So delicious, and the noodles were enormous..!! Cheap and cheerful vibe.

Had the chilli chicken noodle and signature biang biang spinach noodle, both were amazing and the noodle texture is perfectly chewy. The lady works there also give super friendly energy and waits a full restaurant by herself!

White people walk in with a bottle of BYO wine, the first time they've left Paddington in a week, and the first thing they all comment is "At least it smells nice in here." Some old lady all dressed up for the opera asks a passing Chinese businessman, "What's good here?" like they're in a foreign land. Graciously, he replies, "Uh, the noodles?", and leaves.

Chewy wide noodles. Best mouthfeel. Lamb skewers were juicy and tender as well. A must eat in Burwood.

Tried the signature biang biang noodle and it was really good. Lovely cosy ambiance and the food was served pretty fast as well.

BEST Chinese food I've tasted, real authentic Chinese food and very reasonably priced. If you not a spice person suggest only eat meal with one chilli symbol. Best Fried dumpling ever, will definitely travel far to eat here again. Been three time now and still the same quality of food.
