Huong Huong Marrickville

We went tonight for the first time as we were just walking by.. the waitress was so cute and helpful, and the most friendly. We got the short soup, sweet and sour pork and also a noodle dish which had flat noodles. SO YUM!!!!!!

A clean, well run and very friendly restaurant serving a variety of dishes from Malay, Indo, Vietnamese and Chinese cuisines. If you are looking for more 'true Vietnamese' however, go elsewhere. Ate at Huong Huong last night and was quite happy. The net spring rolls contain generous amounts of seafood, the quail is different to the traditional salt/lemon combo but is still tasty! Servings are big and the food is fresh and served with a smile, which I think is the best part.

Really enjoy the pho here and the rest of the menu is delicious too.

Today had beef pho which has a lovely depth in the broth. You can taste it all in the bowl. The star anise pork bones cinnamon etc.

The water spinach in belachan is amazingly good as are their spring rolls.

Next i want the whole fried barramundi yum.

Well I went again here tonight and was not disappointed with the food! Great service and friendly aswell

Four of us 95 bux pretty cheap. One pho vegetable spring rolls wonton fried a laksa and lamb sizzling with ginger also big rice and Gai lan in garlic two cans drink and a Soda chanh

Great standout dish was lamb Gai lan and massive laksa very very good!

Missed this place!

Generous portions, value for money, speedy service, great flavors. No complaints. A great meal for those who are after a quick meal!

Very delicious food and large serving. The fried lemongrass menu is a must to try, you can ask them to make it not spicy if you don't eat chilli. Prices are reasonable for their large servings

Very recommended. Must try chicken with lemongrass, fried rice noodle with gravy. All others food are delicious and the new owner is generous. Thumbs up

This restaurant never disappoints - the serves are huge, food is excellent and service is always efficient. A group of 8 of us went for lunch and everyone was very impressed. The best salt and pepper eggplant I’ve ever had! The salt and pepper squid was so tender. Rice paper rolls and the water spinach was also excellent

Absolute outstanding. Worth it to be put as the bucket list to visit it while in Sydney. Great food from the first Old Thanh Huong restaurant at illawara - Marrickville Chef behind the kitchen, bring back the old memories. Great taste, generous portion, good value for the money with great hospitality served with smile, warm atmosphere & nice cool room with 2 air conditioning being turning on while busy. I was there with my wife yesterday for sunday lunch ( We ordered marinated pork chop with steam rice , salt & paper quail, fried rice egg noodle chow mein with sauce). Wanted to return on Monday but it closed according to google. The lady owner also remind us if we want to order by the phone & search on google. Please to be make sure type Huong Huong. There are few incidents which up sad the customers as they thought they ordered but unfortunately the restaurant did not receive any order as the customers rang the different restaurant with similar name. I also attached their menu picture with their phone numbers & address printed. So everyone can enjoy it.

Absolutely amazing! Great customer service. Food came out quick and fresh but most importantly, the food was delicious and perfect. Salt and pepper squid was perfect not chewy or overcooked just right. Soft shell crab was a great portion and perfect. We ordered a lot and everything was great.

Decent mixed Asian cuisine.
They were insanely busy when we got there but were very accommodating for us having no booking.
Food was nice, only small thing was that there is basically no vegetables in the crispy egg noodles or hokkein noodles when you get them with beef, but other wise everything tasted really good.

Absolutely love the food here, always delicious and super fresh and lots of vegetarian options, and really affordable prices. The staff are absolutely lovely too. Highly recommend!!

Huong Huong has been on Marrickville Road for as long as I remember. It has an extensive pan Asian menu, although it is mainly Vietnamese. You can even order crocodile or kangaroo if you feel so inclined. We went in a Sunday night and it was busy.
The waitperson was friendly and nice, but a little too directive in helping you choose what to order on their massive menu- but this is a minor gripe.
The food is reasonably priced and generously portioned. Today we had beef cubes , Shan dong chicken and egg fried rice- all was tasty, although the beef cubes could have been less salty. This was all served with a complimentary giant jug of green tea.
The restaurant now has electronic payment facilities so you don’t have to worry about cash.
Been here before and would go again.

From Entree, to main meals to the beautiful drinks, it was faultless.
One of the best, maybe even the best Asian style places I've eaten at.
Whole family from 2 yr old up enjoyed the beautifully cooked food.
Well done. We'll be back for sure.

Cold beer and good food and lots to choose from all at reasonable prices, less then 100m from my front door..

I tried this pineapple pork fried rice. It was very tasty.
