Pho Phd Vietnamese Restaurant

Popped in within an hour of the restaurant closing and they were very welcoming and seated us promptly. It was super busy too, and we ordered quick, and received our food just as quick. The pho here is definitely the best I’ve had in a long while, I can hardly discern any flaws in the bowl, and it was shocking how good it was. The flavours were all there, content and portions were ideal (both large), you can actually taste the beef, the noodles were generous and perfectly firm, and most importantly, the broth was just soo delectable. Would happily return here for a reliable bowl of pho. The side of dumplings were also just as delicious! I can only assume that the other dishes are just as good.

The best Vietnamese in Marrickville.

Been here heaps, my favourite dish is the chicken with lemongrass and chilli. Generous portions of chicken and veg with a lovely kick. A side dish of rice between two is perfect to accompany.

An amazing restaurant for Vietnamese food. Price is amazing for the high quality fresh ingredients. I highly recommend anyone to try this restaurant. All the food was delicious however the rice paper rolls were a bit disappointing.

A solid salty and flavourful beef broth. Maybe a northern style pho? Either way it's perfectly balanced and delicious. The beef serving size is quite generous but are on the tougher side. Might need to blanch the beef and then set aside in a separate bowl to avoid overcooking.

Shame they're only open for lunches on Fridays and weekends otherwise I'd be here all the time.

Caught up with our besties and decided to go to PHD. Had the salt and pepper tofu, salt and pepper squid, salt and pepper eggplant, spring rolls and vermicelli spring rolls. This restaurant is super busy however food came out super fast! All dishes were absolutely amazing! the salt and pepper eggplant and salt and pepper squid were so delicious that you really can’t stop at just a few. The texture and taste were spot on and probably the best we’ve tasted. The tofu was also very delicious. The vermicelli rolls had the perfect balance of flavours and the dipping sauce I could have drank! …. it was that good! The portion sizes were very generous and the staff were all so friendly and hospitable. We will most certainly make PHD a regular spot now ….. defs worth the drive! 🤤🤤🤤

Unbeatable Vietnamese food and unmatched efficiency by the staff! It’s a bit loud and busy but that all contributes to the atmosphere, the food comes out quick and is cheap and amazing. Worth venturing off the pho menu because while the soup is awesome their stir fry’s and pork chop combo plates are crazy

Sorry it's taken me so long to try this place. It's spot on, and probably a contender for the best Vietnamese in Marrickville. Big call! You have to get the salt and pepper tofu, even if you can't finish it. The pork and spring roll vermicelli, and shaking beef were also the best we've had in the area. They get busy, so plan your visit. They also serve their food in The Marrickville Hotel - amazing, right!

Eaten in a few times, and it is always great, but this place is an addiction for myself and my partner. Our number 1 go to if we don’t feel like cooking and want some delicious wholesome food. We love you Pho PhD!!!

After an afternoon of shopping. We were all hungry. Was looking for best Vietnamese restaurants in the area and Pho Phd popped up.

The place has a nice ambience, was not too crowded.

We ordered Vietnamese Spring Rolls, Rare Beef Pho, Pork Chop with rice and Crispy Skin Chicken with Rice.

To my surprise, our order was served within 5 minutes.

Really good beef pho and vermicelli salad! The broth is really nice for the pho. It's a pretty small portion compared to other pho restaurants that I have visited, so if you want the normal pho size, then order a large (or an xl if you're a big eater!) I thought it was a good size to share a side dish! The vermicelli salad had beef and spring rolls, really flavourful and a light dish in my opinion! Good portion! They serve really quick which is a big plus!

Delicious, authentic Vietnamese food with generous servings. Excellent value for money! Service is quick and only took minutes to get our orders. The menu is also extensive so plenty to choose from. Need to come back to eat more things.

The best Beef Special broth...hard to find a broth that doesn't reek of clove or cinnamon. This was an honest broth of brisket and tripe..and rare beef strip's...But no Tendon. Disappointing but I'll continue my search.

Make sure you have dinner reservations as this was a busy place. Not surprisingly, the food is very good and the service was exceptional.

Quick service, even though they were full and had several take away orders. The phó was delicate with a focus on freshness rather than just over seasoning the broth. The stuffed chicken wings were tasty and fresh. The pancake was a little greasey but all in all one of the best Vietnamese meals I've had in a while. It was recommended by a local and in this partof town they have lots of computation so they have to be good.

The wait time during busy time wasn’t too long. But not many parking spot available at the front of the restaurant.

Very nice store, a lot of options, maybe too much. All of the food was great, good price and large servings. The staff were very friendly and allowed us to take home the left overs.

It's the best pho in sydney. I drive 45 minutes each way to get here, it's worth it.
The broth is perfect, just the right blend of herbs and sweetness.
I get the combination pho (no brisket).
The decor is very plain, but they are no nonsense, it's all about the food here!
Street parking can be tough, but there is a public parking lot on the roof of the gym/fruit shop.
