Snorkel to see my man the blue groper! He's very friendly and cute and has little teef. He's endangered so just say hi. Bush turkey also chills with you at the beach.

Another place that is snorkelling and diving heaven, probably the easiest place I have visited that you can snorkel right from the beach, just check conditions and wind direction before you go because swimming on the reef on a bad day is challenging. But on a calm day when the brake is low it's absolutely perfect.

You can reach this hidden gem of a beautiful place by a nice walk from Manly. The way is a joy itself. It is a great place for families, I highly recommend spending an afternoon here if you are in Manly. Next to the beach you can find a good place with great staff to get snacks or drinks.

Amazing spot. Even though it was winter, kids and I regretted not having our swimming gear. Would have jumped in for sure despite the cold. A truely beautiful place.. I envy those who come in summer. Close to a must visit I think. Short trip on the ferry, which is an experience in itself. Wow.

A little crowded on Saturday, but a lovely walk along the sea with nature and art. Will bring my smorkel and goggles next time to see if we can spot a seadragon, groper and cuttlefish. Great views from up top and a lovely tidal pool.

Awesome mini walk. 10-15 mins chill walk around.
Weather was very sunny today but the sea breeze make the walk enjoyable as there were many thing to walk and observe

Mesmerising unforgettable inspiring cabbage tree aquatic reserve is a hidden oasis. We stumbled upon this gorgeous location on a walk from Manly Beach. Wow bathers everywhere on the rocks in the water the place was brimming with beautiful people enjoying swimming and sun baking along the idyllic saltwater tidal Rock-pools. Waterdragons adorn the walkway camouflaged by green habitat. Mini sculptures too. There’s a boutique seafood bistro cafe with delicious selection of fried and salad meals, plenty of drinks. It’s busy but sells tasty treats. It’s called The Bower. However walk a little bit further and there’s The Boathouse restaurant opposite the serene beach, perfect location great food and drinks! We’ve visited three times via the Manly ferry at Sydney Circular Quay. It’s a fabulous day trip easy access affordable. Highly recommended

Well worth the walk, beautiful views of Manly from the far distance. Very picturesque landscaping, shaded areas with benches to sit and rest, cafes and restaurants. Family friendly beach covers and salt water pool by the cliff.

A fantastic place for snorkelling, free diving, and scuba diving. Best to go very early in the morning on a week day. Good luck parking. You have been warned.

This is one of the most beautiful spots in all of Sydney. If you go on a sunny day there will be thousands of other people walking between Manly Beach and Shelly Beach. There are many food places around Manly. There are Water Dragons, people snorkeling, swimming and sunbaking. There is an open ocean swimming pool here. In heavy weather waves break over the path.

One of my favourite places to visit when in the area. Crystal waters make for good snorkeling and diving, with an abundance of fabulous sea life. Often sheltered from the wind, the beach is popular and safe too. And look for water dragons as you take the scenic walk.
