How lucky are we to live down the road from this fabulous store!!! Incredible flowers of such quality and so affordable. Now Chris the owner delights with his homemade pastas, homemade biscuits & jams!!
PLUS being the ONLY deli that stocks European products in Balmain) and don't forget to try the string of gob-smackingly good cherry tomatoes!!!

Love having this place as our corner store. For home basics and really delicious fresh produce. New owner Christian is lovely - tried their moussaka recently and it was great! Love the flowers too!

I love papa joe & Co BALMAIN its local treasure the staff are friendly and knowledgeable on all the items i asked about to be honest i wasn't expecting the young staff to really know much about the many varieties off home cooked pasta they sell so thumbs up to boss and staff.
Ohh yeah and i nearly forgot to mention that i bought flowers for my
Mothers birthday which they picked out for me that didn't cost an arm and a leg out off the huge variety they have.
All in all a great local grocery/deli/florist a must visit. 5 stars guys ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

A family run deli just they way they used to make them. Friendly, relaxed and with plenty of homemade and packaged food options. Some of their homemade food is so good, I have actually joined the waiting list for Nonna's green frittata! Lovely assortment of fresh flowers out the front. It's hard for me not to buy anything from them or at the very least stop for a chat.

This beaut store does look like a florist from the outside! The most fabulous range of unusual and beautiful flowers I have ever seen in Sydney, at affordable prices. Today I bought poppies and something yellow and beautiful...

I absolutely love this place, been going here for years, it has always been a charm in Balmain but ever since the new owner took over this place has been amazing! They always have fresh reliable produce and I always love seeing the random things the stock on a daily basis, not to mention the dedication the staff have to this shop!!!

Friendly, family run business with all the essentials but also fine foods in the deli and delicious home made meals ready to eat. Better pasta than some local restaurants, really tasty lasagne and a lovely light fettucine bosciola.

We wasted the other years shopping elsewhere.
Joe, and his lovelies, Maria and Louisa are the heart and soul of good old Balmain. When they go it will be time to leave. Poppi says WOOF.

An array of choices that help making selecting easy. Lunch, snacks, breakfast (out of convenience) all in this cute corner store. Delightful people too, which makes it a great place to pop in to buy something on the run.

you would of thought this place was a florist. to my surprise there is a deli a fruit department and a great cheese selection and much more will be my new regular.
