This was my second time buying from Knives and Stones. Great experience both times!
First time was for an online order of a hibachi grill which I was able to click and collect promptly and has served me well.
This time as I was buying a knife as a gift for a friend I went in to ask for recommendations. In the showroom I was shown a few options and the staff were able to recommend me the right one based on intended use and it being his first Japanese knife. I was able to demo knives which makes me want to come back to get some for my own in near future.

The store has variety of Japanese knifes and stones! good thing was we can try the knife before buy. he was well explained about how to maintain the knife too. very satisfied service than expected! will visit again.

Good knives and stones shop with various types of brands to choose from.
They even let you test cut before choosing your blade.
Staffs are also very friendly and knowledgeable, I was greeted by Isaac and he explained things well and overall a very good experience.
Would like to visit again!

Great customer service recieved yesterday as I bought a Japanese chef knife. The owner was very knowledgable, friendly and helpful in directing me towards a knife that would suit my ability & not just trying to sell me the most exspensive knife to make a few quid. Will defiantly be back. Great professional knives sold at a very reasonable price with the expertise staff to go with it. Very happy with my purchase. Would recommend

This kind of store can be daunting for a novice, but I was so pleasantly surprised by the helpful and informative service. You can try the knives, and my questions were all answered. I'll definitely be purchasing from this store again.

I recently had the pleasure of using a knife sharpening service, and I must say, it was an outstanding experience from start to finish. The staff was not only knowledgeable but also incredibly friendly and approachable. I dropped off my knives and received them back in a timely manner, sharper than ever. The sharpening was done with great precision and attention to detail. I could immediately feel the difference when I used my newly sharpened knives - they effortlessly glided through ingredients, making my cooking experience much more enjoyable and efficient.

What a lovely experience, dropped in today to check out the store, I probably should have phoned ahead. I was served by Aaron, and he went out of his way to ask the right questions and recommend a few options. A very knowledgeable and helpful fella, true customer service with a smile. A candy shop for knife lovers, holding a great range of not just beautiful knives, but accessories and grills. Was lovely to hold something in my hand before purchasing and managed to get a customised handle to find the weight I really wanted. Thank you again. I'll definitely shop here again... although unfortunately it may have to be online as I live 4000 kms away.

I stopped by the store to pick up a Hasegawa cutting board for a new knife I got elsewhere. After seeing their amazing display and the great service, had me wishing I got a knife from here instead! Highly recommended. I love seeing the incredible selection of Japanese kitchen knives that Knives & Stones brings to knife shows and have followed them on youtube for all the latest on sharpening and knife reviews. For me, my grail knife has always been the 210mm Masamoto KS and when I saw they had them on Youtube, I had to acquire one. The experience was easy and straight-forward and the afterpay option great for finances. I will be a returning customer!

Great service, lets you actually use the knives you want to buy. Offered me honest advice, I would have spent more but was advised to go with a cheaper knife to start with.

The gentleman is easy to deal with, quality inventory and lots of options.
Been researching for a while before coming to OZ to acquire some goodies. The problem with majority of the kitchen knife vendors is that they don't sell top quality chopping boards, at best a wooden chopping board. But even a chef knife shop will sell bamboo boards (even though they sell artisan grade knives) probably to complement more sales in knife sharpening hardware (but in the end a good knife is pointless when the rest of the gear is junk). The market is full of inferior goods, we need more vendors like K&S to set an example to follow.

I bought cutting board, knives, and pans from this shop. The items are in high quality and with an affordable price. The owner of the shop is so nice and talkative. They provide free knife sharpening service if you bought knives from here.

I called Aron at the end of a busy day and he was more than happy to stay back and provide recommendations based on my needs. He gave great advice, seemed very knowledgeable and wasn't pushy to make a sale. Fair prices and quick turn-around, would recommend reaching out.
