Great Lakes Caravans

We have been dealing with Great Lakes Caravans this last week with a few problems with our van while holiday in Forster. We are very impressed with the customer service, the knowledge and help we were given. Please support this fantastic business and thanks again.

Dont let the look of the place put you off. These boys know what they are doing. They are very knowledgeable when it comes too all things caravan. I spoke with several of the boys and they were all so helpful and knew their stuff. I sent them an email and they got back to me quickly. Dropped my van off and it was ready sooner than they said. Of cause it depends on what work they have at the time. I have a tiny 1994 poptop which needed new cross over lifters installed.

They also have a big selection of caravans of all types for sale and you can trade in as well. Check the vans for sale on their web site. Also don’t forget they have parts for sale too and they would be able to help you with parts you need.

Had a front door lock on caravan and electrical issue betweencar & van. They had the parts and offered to change the brokwn handle for me but I bought the part and said I'd change it myself as they were flat chat. An hour later they ended up doing it.
Chad was great just did it and didn't charge which was greatly appreciated. Left some beer money though!😎
Electrical issue was fixed after a discussion to help troubleshoot.

A big thanks to Craig and the crew for getting us out of a huge problem on a bank holiday Sunday.
We had burnt out a bearing on our van and had to be trucked someplace to get off the side of the freeway. Craig called me back after I left a message for him.
He said to drop the van at their depot, that day and they'd look at it first thing Tuesday.
Long story short, 2 days later we were up and running. All new bearings fitted new back plate and hub. Incredible friendly service from this company.
Thanks again for getting us out, so grateful.

Thank you, thank you for sending out quality parts. I had to replace my dometic freezer door hinge/clips as they had broken. However, you guys pointed out specifically in your adverstising that yours were NOT 3D printed. No one else is saying this about the clips they are selling! Thank god, as the ones I bought previoiusly, obviously were, as they didnt last one weekend away!! So grateful. I never review but this was toatally worth sharing. The quality was definitely noiticable.

I recently had a breaking and suspension issue with my caravan while on holiday near Nabiac. My van got trucked to Great Lake Caravans and l am so glad it did.
The team here are sensational , knowledgeable and very particular about checking every detail. In doing the repair they found another problem I did not know I had and went out of their way to get the equipment required to fix it on the spot. Called in yesterday on our way north. Our toilet cassette would not open. After twenty minutes it was fixed. A big shoutout to the three guys involved. They could not do enough for us. Thank you.

Nice folk, I had looked all around the world for a fridge part and fond nothing. I found the same fridge out the back and was given it for free. It made such a difference to have a working fridge in my van

Purchased a van late last year from the team and it was a very smooth and pleasant experience. Van, although not a recent year model was presented in an immaculate state and has proved to be a good buy! Due to my own fault I broke some components on the awning, called in today and within 20 minutes it was all fixed. Don't get that sort of service anymore so well done to Craig and the team.

I recently purchased a Jayco 17' Journey from Great Lakes Caravan Sales, attended by "Craig". I was absolutely delighted by the treatment I received and for the subsequent support. I was particularly impressed by the way in which the office staff processed the sale and the way that the workshop crew seemed determined to send me away with a smile on my face. I am still smiling! I needed to make a couple of telephone calls to clarify some operational items and was gobsmacked by the speed of their responses. I have no hesitation at all in recommending GLC to any prospective Buyer or Seller. Their very practical and no-nonsense approach says it all.
ADDED COMMENT: (22.5.21) At the time of purchase I was assured that the awning that was fitted to the caravan was in need of replacement, although I thought it wasn't too bad, and so I returned some months later to have the work done. Once again I came away with a smile on my face. The work was carried out as promised and with excellent speed. I will be back!!!!!!!

We just had our Avan repaired, serviced and a few things upgraded over the last week. We got it back today and it’s seriously better than new. Stoked with the work done and wonderful service from Wes and the team. Such a great business with a big team to cover everything you’ll need.

Friendly staff who are happy to assist and answer questions makes it easy even for the beginner to get a Caravan at a great price.

Needed a quick repair to my campervan shower door and they were most accommodating. I had called at least 10 other repairers in the area with no luck. Repair was done efficiently and staff were very pleasant and cost very reasonable. I would recommend to others.
