St Luke's Anglican Church Clovelly

Fantastic church, full of welcoming folks who are genuinely trying to encourage each other to live grounded in Jesus' message. The sermons are open and honest, and don't shy away from tricky topics or challenging ideas - and the team is always keen for questions or feedback. There's plenty of events and community throughout the week, too!

I was nervous walking into this church for the first time. However the welcome signs were clear and it was easy to find the entrance. I was met by two people at the front door who smiled, welcomed me and pointed me towards the cafe area. This was helpful and the barista did a great job. It was immediately a warm atmosphere and it seemed everyone who made eye contact smiled. My kids felt comfortable too as some people greeted them.
The music was clear and lively without being overly loud. It appeared to me that the songs were focussed on Jesus, which I was glad for. The host (the lady who greeted us formally from the front) was warm and professional. She made me feel at ease.
The sermon was interesting, bible based and thoughtful (it was a Mother's day special sermon).
I reckon this place is worth checking out.

A wonderfully welcoming church that is grounded in the gospel of Jesus Christ. Sermons are engaging, challenging and address current life situations without skipping over important (or even controversial) content from the bible. The people are very friendly. There is free coffee, made by trained baristas!

Great Church that is so welcoming and friendly. It has been a great place to be challenged in thinking through the big questions of life, and allowing a safe space to ask questions.

The church has plenty of programs throughout the week and has an extensive youth program.

Great Minister - Dave and his lovely family. Highly recommend for Families. Good sermons and music. Even though covid they have helped to keep people together.
