The "on every Sunday's" WW2 tunnels tour is a must do if you are visiting Sydney. It's a very informative 1.5hr tour run by volunteers.

Enjoyed the view while we walked from Manly Wharf. There’s a small area where sidewalks don’t exist but luckily it was safe enough to walk as cars showed up in long intervals. Would come back definitely!

One of Sydney's hidden gems. Worth the drive to get there and there is also a pretty regular bus service that takes you from Manly right out to the lookouts at the end.

Amazing walking track with spectacular views of Sydney Harbour and coastline. Also a fantastic opportunity to appreciate the abundant native flora.

Very nice place to visit and learn about the quarantine period of Australia. The cemetery was sad to see people so young that died from disease. Lots of nice picture views overlooking cliffs and the ocean. The people working there were very nice. One person took the time to draw a detailed map of places to visit, another filled our water bottles that were empty. Would recommend visiting. Get there early, there's a lot of walking and lots to cover. They also have one type a day at 11, which we missed.

The newly opened walkway around the headland has been extremely well designed. Easy flat access to magnificent views. There is a lovely cafe overlong the Heads and nice food at reasonable prices. I feel there should be more prominent signs to indicate paid parking rules. National Parks also offer yearly passes which can be verified by Park rangers via number plate identification. D

A beautiful place that should be on your visit list!!! The only thing is that at this moment, the far most point is under renovation. But anyhow, it was a great experience !

This visitor centre has some photos that show the history of North Head. At this centre I booked a spot on the underground guided tour that takes you into the World War II tunnels. The tour guide was very well researched. Our tour took about 1 hour and 45 minutes. The tour starts above ground examining the Japanese attack on Sydney and the various theatres of war that people from Australia have been involved in. The underground infrastructure has been very well preserved by various volunteers. Tours appear to be conducted on Sundays (and Saturdays during summer). They also conduct group tours on weekdays when pre-booked. I travelled to and from this area via a bus which I caught from opposite the Manly ferry wharf. There's a water bubbler located outside this visitor centre. The public toilets are located across the road.
