Shelly Headland Upper Lookout

A hidden gem!!! Shelly Headland Upper Lookoout offers magnificent views over the ocean and coastal line. An easy 10 min walk from the carpark. Highly recommended!!!

Great walk if you are in the area. Get the ferry to Manley and then take the trail. It’s a great path and easy to navigate.

Great lookout point for sunrise or sunset. Parking is expensive at $12/hr. Many vantage points you can get to. Great place to fly a drone

The view from the top is really beautiful. A small walk from the shelly beach and you would be able to see the entire Tasmania sea. And if you're lucky you might see a rainbow as well as we did.

This place is much more beautiful than the actual beach itself. Quieter and gives a breathtaking view of the sea and waves. This is just beside the car parking space. There are multiple spots to sit down (or stand) and enjoy the scenic beauty.

Loved it! It is closed to Shelly beach, has amazing view over pacific. Climb the rock to have a better view of ocean, beach and city! Highly recommended.

One of my favourite spots to sit and enjoy the view over the Northern Beaches all the way up to Palm Beach. Incredible views over Shelly Beach, Fairy Bower, Manly and the Pacific. Only a 5 minute walk up the path from the Shelly Beach car park. Worth the hike to the top to the lookout! Checkout the views of the Northern Beaches!! The hike is great and short but can be extremely hot so bring water.

Quite good lookout to walk and relax after working life in city. Easy to get despite of hills.

One of my favourite spots in Manly. I’ve been holidaying here since I was little bad always take time to come up here to sit and chill. You’ll generally see some lizards and of course, a great view over the ocean and cliff faces. There are number of nooks to sit and relax. There’s a car park for easy access or you can walk from the corso to Shelly Beach and up the stairs to the view that awaits you. Enjoy!

Stare out over the big blue from up high, without walking too far from the transport hubs of Manly! Wonderful spot for a picnic.

Beautiful lookout. Panorama of the entire Northern Beaches with dramatic drop offs. Winding track provides exercise and encounters with wildlife and opportunities to see a variety of native plants that flower in season. Spot the stunning flannel flowers and banksias. Stunning part of the Great North Head walk. Plenty of fresh air and chance to escape the crowds.

Good for walking. Very slight hiking tracks, the elderly and those who have knee or leg injuries may find it challenging but otherwise easy
